I have been playing b ball for 35 years. Just last year I found out about the existence of Molten balls, after years of Spalding and Wilson, Molten is the one for me.
When I go to hoop with my friends I always bring three basketballs(Wilson Official NBA Game Ball, Wilson Solution, Molten GG7X) knowing that they are going to choose the Molten GG7X. But I prefer leather basketballs because I'm a shooter.
Wait what’s the difference between a molten GF7X and a GG7X Im American so idk the difference. I got a GF7x and all the foreign hoopers love playing pick up with the ball.
@@bobheyotue9850 GL is the top tier game ball if not mistaken, GG is the second tier, followed by GF. They have been discontinued tho. GL getting replaced with the bg5000, GG replaced by the bg4500, then bg3800, all indoor preferably. The best indoor/outdoor ball is 3200 i think. I ordered a 3200 but still haven't tried it.
@@bobheyotue9850 GF is the outdoor series. GG is the composite leather indoor series. GL is the leather game ball top tier, GG being second, then GM lastly GF if not mistaken. They have been replaced with the BG series tho, 5000 being the game ball, then 4500, 3800, 3200, 3000, and lower. 3200 is the highest number for outdoor/indoor, anything higher is for indoor.
I’m interested in purchasing my first leather ball. Just curious which one I should get. I’ve played with the Wilson evolution, Spalding Legacy TF 1000, and the Molten BG3800. I like all these basketballs. What I’m am more curious about is what are the differences; pros and cons of the leather counter parts of these three brands. Debating between the Wilson official game ball, Spalding TF Model M and the Molten BG5000. What is your opinion or anyone one who is reading this comment please chime in too.
The biggest pro with leather basketballs is consistency. The swoosh sound from the leather balls so satisfying. The biggest con is the price. Wilson NBA game ball has the lowest quality compared to other leather basketballs. You can see my other video "WILSON NBA OFFICIAL GAME BALL FOR 2023-2024 NBA SEASON" where I talked about the build quality of it.
@@EverythingBasketballs I just ordered the Spalding TF Model M. It should be here tomorrow. I remember watching your video on it for the unboxing. What are your thoughts now that you’ve owned the ball for a while now?
Got my DIME One ball a few days ago and let me tell you if you are a shooter it's 💦 straight out the box. I read some reviews comparing this ball to the EVO which I'm not a fan of. The DIME ball excels where the EVO fails due to the deep grooves and pebble texture. When sweat occurs the ball doesn't get slick or it's non evident due to the texture. ❤ This ball
Would like to see you go hunting / thrifting for basketballs in new, almost new or fixable (with leather cream , tlc etc) condition . That’d be fun to watch

I'm like Nou. When I plan to play inside the gym, I bring Spalding leather ball, Wilson leather ball, and Molten BG5000. I switch back and forth.
my man. always has extra balls for rotation.
The biggest problem with Wilson evolution is super slippery in cold and dry climate. Only Wilson solution can offer decent grip in winter time.

My gym bag is not big enough for 3 balls. It can only fit 2. I also have knee wrap and low back strap (old people problems lol) in my bag.
