I started playing Dark World yesterday & damn is it a lot of fun (despite Danger RNG hindering me on occasion) & getting that great end board after all the drawing & discards (as well as the opponent trying to stop you) is awesome With the amount of level 8s you play in Dark World, you can play Trade In BUT it won’t trigger their effects as it is a cost & not an effect although the discard effects of Bigfoot, Thunderbird & Grapha don’t mean much going first as there is usually nothing to destroy (Reign Beaux Overking is the worst target as he won’t search) It can make draws easier though instead of Danger RNG & doesn’t banish like Allure would. Coach King Giantrainer can be a little tricky to get out but 3 draws that can result in doing a possible 2400 damage is nice too (Had a number of opponents waste their Ash on him only to draw 2 afterwards lol) The main downside I’ve experienced so far is sometimes I can do my usual setup quick & other times not so much & by that I mean I measure that by remaining cards in my deck. One time I’ll have 10-15 cards remaining & other times I’ll have 5 left A little tip: If you Maxx C a Dark World player & they appear to just special summon loop with no goal, it’s because they’re attempting to deck you out either by Maxx C draws or Card Destruction. Hope you haven’t wasted your Ash yet or they have negates setup to stop you from trying
My guy, Danger! effects trigger whenever discarded. Your opponent can have Macro Cosmos and you can discard Bigfoot as cost for Trade-In and Bigfoot can pop the Macro Cosmos from the banished pile.

DW cards instead say "if this card is discarded to the GY by card effect". so yeah danger!s are busted af even if pure rng (i'm currently playing danger! dark world engine and i won a tournament at locals last week)
Just pray Card Destruction finds its way to your hand quick enough… I lost a match today where I was going full force despite their Maxx C & was hoping to deck them out with Card Destruction but had to stop as I would’ve decked out myself Guess what? Card Destruction was sitting at the bottom of the deck 😢
Or they kept hitting cancel wondering how long it would be till he uses extra deck. This is a tear player we’re talking about, they are not exactly smart.

Hate to say this but this deck can play the Ido lock. Lucent, the lv 6 dark world guy can summon it from deck if he gets discarded by an opponents card effect. Just, y'know, be prepared for that. Another way to summon Ido is through Parl, the lv 1 dark world.
Hey crab how is this a 3/5 consistency it seems like it has a lot of gas is it really that bad when it comes to that I love dark world a lot it’s my favorite archetype ever
I'm more offended by the Offense score. You can put upwards of 10,000 damage on board easily and it's 3/5 stars. The 3/5 consistency though is a lot more reasonable. Problem is the Danger! rng can mean you can play through literally everything and anything or you get wrecked.
@PlagueSpreader64 and the defense score after that? How many negates does a Dark World deck usually have on endboard? Hope Harbinger, G:DODW, Baron, Apollusa, I:P into Underworld Goddess. And let me just point out that's 1 negate for every summoning method besides pendulum. The only thing I can agree with is cost, because... God there are alot of UR/SRs, but damn if it's not worth it.

Why are you playing without ceruli? If you discard him you can summon him on the enemy's field and discard one card in your hand and use the seconds effects of the dark world cards
@@gravethestampede3454 I was asking because there's a big difference between "Discard" and "Send.' And while these would acticate Tear and Ishizu, I don't know if they activate the other way around.
@@krystallinekris I've seen Dark World Tear videos for the tcg months ago. I never tried it out myself but in the video I recall the guy won his locals with it. So the two do sort of work together but neither Dark World or Danger! monsters are going to trigger if they are sent anywhere. Now when master duel gets Purrely cards... those work with Dark World pretty well.

Summoning him & Coach King Giantrainer in the same turn might be a challenge but I’m still new to Dark World so I haven’t mastered the right times to summon but I’ll get there eventually
I don’t play Baroness in my Dark World but I do play Apollousa My standard end board is a 3200 ATK Apollousa, Number 38 & the Grapha fusion. Still learning the deck so I can probably end with extra
@@UltimaXVI Danger! Dark World can absolutely make Coachking, Skull Dread, and Apollousa in that order while simultaneously setting up the Grapha fusion. Then you can slap down Number 38 pretty easily followed by Number 22 as a bit of a stretch goal. If Silllva wasn't banned you could have also used Sillva to hand loop for 4 in the process. If you got really luck triple tactics talent can rip the 5th card and you can make a third rank 4/8 xyz like Dweller or Number 23. That's all turn 1 mind you. Edit: Another pretty solid end board option is something like Muckraker co-linked with Knightmare Gryphon, with Gryphon pointing to the Grapha fusion and Number 38. Edit Edit: Number 22 outs cards like Dark Ruler because you can chain Accession to Dark Ruler, then Chain Number 22 to Accession to target and negate the face-up Dark Ruler. Best part if Number 22 being in defense or Apollousa being low on attack won't matter because Number 38 can redirect attacks.

One of the few decks in master duel that involve discarding/banishing cards and work effectively, even with negates.

I prefer to turbo out Apollousa, Number 38, Number 22, the Grapha fusion, and a set Accession personally. That board can even out Dark Ruler No More.
