      It's Spanish (Spain),but for the single released in 1975. On TV in Spain was broadcasted always in German. Latin America has its own opening,I think is from Memo Aguirre,with a different music, it's in the description.

    I grew up with the german version, so this is one of the versions I like the most ^^ But I think that the Italian version is also good. And the Japanese Version is really cute, but to me, it doesn't fit that well to a show like Vicky ^^'

    Here are the versions which I can explain from the Portuguese opening of Vicky the Viking:
    - version 1: this version was translated in 2006 on RTP2;
    - version 2: this version is from the movie of the anime (which I have it in VHS cassette);
    - version 3: this version was the first opening ever translated in Portuguese on RTP in 1974, although they didn't dub it and they remained with the German dub and subbed in Portuguese;
    - version 4: this version was the first to be dubbed in Portuguese in the late 90s on TVI.
    Hope that cleared it up.

    • @opmultilanguage
      @opmultilanguage  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Is there any more Portuguese versions or is that all of them? And on the 1974 RTP dub, only the opening (and Ending?) was dubbed into Portuguese, right?
      Also huge THANKS for the explanation, I'll label in the description

    The German version was composed by Christian Bruhn, who composed _a lot_ of famous German _Schlagers_ like »Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht«, or »Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht«;: the lyrics is by Andrea Wagner.
    The German version was sung by a beat and rock band from Cologne called »Stowaways« who changed its name later to the name they original used as disguise for their carnival gigs: _Bläck Fööss_ (a quite famous band in Germany, now)

      @@opmultilanguage The song is not a Latin American version. In Spain, since 1974, the song never doubled. It was always in German. There was a Spanish version that released the Philips record brand in 1974, but it was never broadcast on TV. The recording of the video in Spanish was because it was decided to double when the series came out in DVD format. With another translation different from the Philips version. All those different versions in portuguese, really show how beloved this cartoon used to be around here, even though version 3 from the 70's will always be the original one. I remember how often the vinyl single and the hardcover comic albums could be spotted in many homes in the 80's/90's. Oh and let's not forget the small plastic figures. But yeah, this was a proper kids show, mixing japanese animation sensibilities with the european themes, I still love it.

    Voor mij wint de Nederlandse versie. Niet omdat ik er toevallig mee ben opgegroeid, maar bij bijv. de Deense versie hoor ik teveel echo voor de zangstempartijen, bij de Engelse en eigenlijk alle andere taalversies mis ik geestdrift bij het zingen, of het klinkt alsof ze een tekst opdreunen in plaats van zingen.....die ik vanzelfsprekend bij de NL versie ECHT enthouasiast gezongen hoor worden!!....ok, ok, eerlijk is eerlijk, alle lof ook voor de Galicische, Duitse en Spaanse versie. Voor de niet-Europese versies, nee sorry echt. kan me gewoon niet boeien, misschien probeerden die versies het kindvriendelijk te houden maar daardoor worden het juist enorm niet-enthousiaste versies.
