INTERTIDAL - DIY Alaska Black Bear Hunt

- This hunt took place in remote southeast Alaska. With a black bear tag in my pocket and my dad by my side, what more could I ask for? Navigating the islands on pack rafts, running into moose and sitka blacktail's, peeking through the fog and enduring the rain. Those are just a few things you can expect in place as wild as this.

Fantastic video Jace and congrats on the successful trip. Been a while since I’ve seen those dark eyes peering at me through a football helmet face mask. I had heard you were hunting a lot and I’m happy for you. I remember when your dad took you on your first hunt. Near Tendoy I believe. In fact, you borrowed Derek’s jacket for that hunt. Derek and I still hunt as much as we can and would be fun to plan a hunt with you and your dad sometime.

How much does it cost to have a plane fly you out to wherever you're going on a hunt like that? I'm looking to move to Alaska soon and I'm big into the hunting and fishing lifestyle. I'm just wondering how I'll get to these remote places unless its' by ATV or plane and what the cost might be?

Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it! For cameras I used a Sony a73 and z90 as well as a gopro. For audio I ran the Zoom H1 recorders, as well as rode shotguns on the cameras. Good luck out there and have fun!
