think the issues you had was you had no knowledge of the inner game. Like family feud has some random 100 people from research surveys - so people whom know they are being asked this stuff so they might be trolls. And then price is right has their prices 'based' off california. But even californians feel the prices are pulled out of their butt for the show. In fact a guy was able to figure out the exact price of things based on watching the show on repeat enough times to find out it is really the same numbers repeated.
For Price is Right, technically she won the prizes to get on stage and the items and cash she won in the games. Also, if I am not mistaken, you can trade your prizes for cash.
