Such an accurate comment about external statements. My daily is a GMT Master 2 "Batman" which has enormous sentimental value but its funny how sometimes the comments I get about it feel so different to if I am wearing a JLC or Tudor. I am a big Patek fan but do worry if my passion for them is sometimes driven by marketing and feeling like they are a "grail" watch and has that overtaken my actual passion for them. I don't think it has but that is the stage I am at with my collecting so this conversation really hit home for me!
Excellent video! Great dynamic between the two of you! Love the IWC talk, love love love that Reverso! And I love Emily’s point about having restraint. I too fell into that trap of wanting to buy and own everything I liked. But it ended up driving me crazy, buying, selling, losing money, 1 step forward and 2 steps back, etc. I think I’ve finally matured to the point where I can sit back and just enjoy the few mechanical watches that I own and love, and maybe just look to the future to add a few great pieces over time. Maybe I needed to go through this all this craziness to learn my lesson and ultimately end up in a place of joy. God bless!
Fantastic video, Emily! I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the two-watch collection. Your passion for horology shines through, and it's inspiring to see how you approach watch collecting with such thoughtfulness. Keep up the great work-looking forward to more content like this!
I have the Ingenieur Aqua. Should I add the titanium? Getting the itch. What was the watch with the red band that kept getting pushing aside and who made the band? Thanks
I, like many people, just can’t see past the price gouge and the shared (albeit good) B&M base movement when it comes to the IWC. Anyway, a very enjoyable video, as always.
This guest has energy for days🔥🔥🔥🔥 - what a beautiful and happy episode
You two most definitely should do regular YT show, podcast or something else together, you compliment each other so well.

What an amazing outcome for a beautiful watch. Always a pleasure to see MaMaCoo work your magic. Thanks for sharing this transformation with us!
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of amzwatch's watch 99% of people will never see.
