Tina, what a thoughtful video, and so many wise words. Just this week I finally tried a local rock choir, something I'd been meaning to do for years. Happy Sunday ❤
So many great points. People begin a new hobby or creative art and try be an expert immediately. But if you want to learn the guitar, or how to write wonderful poems, you have to LEARN it, step by step. It's funny, because no one would expect a ballerina to do an advanced leap on her first lesson, but they think they're supposed to paint a masterpiece the second they buy some cerulean blue. Give yourself time & enjoy the process!
Yes! There is joy in the journey. The destination isn't the entire point. That thought is the inspiration to my channel name. Life is a beautiful journey. We all have a final destination, but the meaning, the beauty, the love, the joy is in the days that we walk through and the people we walk with. We have to stop and take in the beauty around us as we make this journey, or we get to the destination and find we've completely missed the point of it all.
Excellent points. I've watched all manner of "how to get monetized as a small channel" videos. And they alllll seem to be the same and try to get you to do a class. And few people seem to actually gain, in my humble opinion. So I am a small channel. As an over 60 guy, I'm looking at this as more legacy. I'm under 50 subs, and hoping for more... I'm just trying to do better as I keep moving forward.
I think the legacy aspect of YT is incredible. To have a place where you can put your stories, advice, personality, YOU, and your children and grandchildren will be able to see it for years to come, is just so cool. Good luck to you!
Hey Tina! 👋 I tell my grandkids all the time that if they're not making mistakes, they're not living. Making mistakes is a learning experience. When one of them is worried about a mistake they made, I ask them if they learned anything. They'll think about it and then tell me what they learned. I tell them that as long as they learned something, it was worth the error. Tina, this was one of the BEST videos I've EVER seen. I related to every word you said. My mother cared for my grandmother. I then cared for my mother at a time when it was hard to care for myself. It's still hard some days for me to do much of anything. I too had to learn to give myself grace. It was either that or become a total basket case. Sometimes I may just be able to do a good days worth of work in a whole week's time and that's okay. I will be saving this video for ME. I'll be watching this one again, more than once. Tf......just THANK YOU. I'll definitely see you soon 🌈 🌻 🤗 😘 🥰
Yes! Such a wise grandma for those babies of yours! I'm sorry you deal.with such hard days. But what an example you are to find joy and happiness even in the hard!
Hi Tina. Lovely, thoughtful video. I wanted you to know give you a hug when you were talking about your Mom taking care of your grandma ❤️. So many things I could relate to in this video. Time management is a big one for me! Thanks for making this!
@@tinasbestmidlife thanks for the hug! The emotion really took me by surprise. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I want to do more videos like this, talking about topics important to women our age.
