It is better to hook and loose a fish, than to be sitting on the couch. and having never hook it at all. Any day you can get in the creek and hook those fine fish, it's a great day. Thanks for sharing.
@@TheMasterCaster I know. The water had to be 75-80. But then again, our creeks are only creeks with summer runs and the fish fight like crazy. Scams will jump 12 feet at times. Winter chromes and kings are lethargic. I've caught many steelies that were just dead weight.
The largest Joe’s Fly. I think it’s 1/4 or 1/3 ounce. Black and charetreuse. 12 pound mono leader. I highly recommend using fluoro though, I was just using what I had at the time.
I’m sure there’s much better spots. This was just the closest spot for me on the way back from Canada. I hope I get back someday and try some other spots
I did NOT watch this video, not worth my time based on title. I like the last two comments, true facts. But what bugged me, as Im sure others noticed.........that's not a salmon dude...........head shake face slap.
Always crazy when they jump and they are almost eye level with you!

It’s crazy! I wish I wasn’t 10 hours away or I’d be fishing there more often
It matters...respect the Catch..period.
? The fish is gonna kept, how is keeping it out of the water disrespectful towards my catch?
What size rod are you using? Just curious
Hi! This is an 8’ Bass Pro Shops Microlite, Medium Power Fast Action! A little underpowered for these fish, imo.
What spinner were u using and what lb test?
