I just tried this recipe today and it turned out fantastic! The cake is very dark and chocolatey and not too sweet. It's also the first time I've experienced cake layers fully baking within the timeframe as stated in the recipe.
Sometimes I eat dark chocolate to maintain my health and get back in shape, and the dark chocolate cake looks fluffy and delicious with a rich flavor, as a chocolate lover.💖🍫🍰 Ohh..... looking marvelous.

I love the idea of coffee to enhance the flavor cause I’ve also seen other chefs say that cream or milk dilutes it, and that’s why they use water, but I feel like water dilutes the flavor too in my opinion so I’m definitely trying the coffee next time!

Hi! I think the recipe would work well with the oat milk. Perhaps also add in a tablespoon of lemon juice to react the baking soda. They took the trimmings from the top of the cake and crumbed it up and spread them all over the outside of the cake. That might be nice with those German 🍒 cherries we talked about in the cake. Hi! Sure, milk chocolate will work great here, too! It will make it a little bit sweeter but it will be delicious. I'm so glad to hear that my other chocolate cake has been well enjoyed! If you're looking for something without frosting, I recommend trying my dessert breads. They're like cake but in loaf form. I have Raspberry Pistachio, Blueberry Lemon, Cherry Almond, and Orange Cranberry. Also, check out my bundt cake recipes. My favorite is the blueberry lemon.

You'll love it!! Instead of buttermilk, combine 1 cup whole milk with 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Stir, let it sit for a few minutes and then use. Homemade buttermilk :)

Good Afternoon Chef, I made your Ukrainian Braised Pork recipe, MMM. I didn't have smoked paprika so I sauteed the meat and veggies in rendered double smoked bacon fat. I didn't use Dill, I'm allergic, subbed with Tarragon. I caught a sale on pork loin for. 99c pound so I made enough for my neighbors in my apartment building. It was yummy, Thanks 🙏4✌🌷🌷🌷

Some people remove the skin or add apples to the mix . Very popular in New Years Day hangover meal. Side of mashed potatoes. That's tomorrow's project, I'm using pork loin. 1 cup coffee would be too much for this recipe. Perhaps you can add 1/2 cup coffee with 1/2 cup buttermilk (instead of 1 cup buttermilk), although this will change the texture of the cake slightly. You can add a tablespoon of regular, ground coffee. It will work, too.

In france we just get the soft cream cheese in philadelphia not the block so which can i use for the frosting

I have a question why do you not make sure dark cocoa powder in with your hot instead of coffee to allow the cocoa powder to Bloom?
I guess you could do that, too :) I always just sift it in with the flour.

Instead of using instant coffee, could I just use 1 cup of freshly brewed coffee?
1 cup coffee would be too much for this recipe. Perhaps you can add 1/2 cup coffee with 1/2 cup buttermilk (instead of 1 cup buttermilk), although this will change the texture of the cake slightly.
You can add a tablespoon of regular, ground coffee. It will work, too.
