Today we are exploring an abandoned house in France again. In the garage, we find a barn surprise: an old-fashioned Renault 4GTL. Little is known about why the house is abandoned and all their possessions were never claimed. Thus rests us the question: where did the family go?

I just went and found those jugs you guys are so confused about. They are: "French vintage pewter measuring cups, pewter graduating jugs, vintage pewter pitcher, antique pewter measuring jugs, rustic display"

The furniture is really beautiful...I'm surprised there hasn't been antique auctions for these things. Those clocks are extremely amazing. Sad that they're neglected. As always, you bring such wonderful images and videos of someone's past to life. Thank you for that!! Admire your respectfulness.
Hi Maureno! Hi Remon...its nice to see you again with your buddy!! I missed your cute "Indeed, Indeeds"! You should get T-shirts with that and Explomo on them!! Those big dark glasses, I think, are for people to use after getting their eyes dilated at the eye Dr, or after cataract surgery, to keep the sun out. I've had to use some myself.
Thos bog dark sunglasses were to go over another frame of prescription eye glasses.
The clocks in the house are beautiful, I love antique clocks and I have never seen one with colors like that. So glad no one has done any harm to them.
Just seeing Remon in the colorful glasses made me laugh😂
I absolutely loved the furniture. I am agreed with a lots of readers that these beautiful unique pieces were carved by same carpenter with a lot off love and care since they are a really magnificent handcrafted.

The glasses by the sewing notions are to be warn after eye surgery like cataract. That was a giant wooden Rosary. Nice explore.

The appliance in the kitchen with the cover removed is a hot water heater boiler type which was used to heat the house.
The large sunglasses that Remon first tried on go over prescription glasses. I actually have a pair.

It is quite the style of house of people born between 1900 and 1930. The most astonishing is the piece of furniture with the communist symbols. My grandmother, an artist, born in 1900, had a bust of Lenin in bronze, which she had made for her husband, and even remarried with a Gaullist, it was on the fireplace.
When it comes to "targeted" burglaries, you will notice that it is always the same places, cabinets, drawers, etc., because this is usually where people put their values and their weapons, which is the most sought after. I myself was robbed, all the drawers had been searched, the cupboards open, and the mattresses turned over, while the revolver I had was in the oven in the kitchen.

The sunglasses were made to fit over regular glasses. The very flimsy kind were given when a person had an eye exam with the pupils dilated. I hate seeing those beautiful clocks falling into disrepair. So sad.

Hola Maureno y Remon!! Feliz viendo esta nueva exploración, me gustó esta casa francesa, sencilla pero con detalles dignos de destacar como el gabinete del comedor que tenía tallado el símbolo de la hoz y el martillo, el mueble del dormitorio y la cama hermosos, los relojes increíbles nunca vi tantos, el piano y la lámpara vintage. El "collar" que tomó Remon es un rosario utilizado por los cristianos para rezar y ese de gran tamaño seguramente era para colgarlo como adorno en un muro.
La casa seguro fue habitada por ancianos, por eso estaba el dormitorio junto a la sala de estar y todo muy cerca para evitar desplazamientos, la "silla de ruedas" era un toilette portátil.
Me dió tristeza pensar en los ancianos y ver su casa destrozada.

Yow! 🙋🏻♀️🥰 This is a simple yet beautiful house. But i also found it a little bit weird 😅😅 my favorite thing about it is the piano 😍 those french pianos with the candles holders are my favorite! Imagine sitting and playing the piano on a rainy night with the candles shining , wow! And i also liked the vintage thingies and all the wood fournitures well detailed. And Remon trying the sunglasses was the the funniest thing 😆 Love it! Thank you 🖤❤❤🖤

The shoes in the garage , there was also some cobbling equipment to heel and soul shoes which people often did themselves at home many years ago x

I love vintage time capsule houses. I think you are right as an older person must have lived here.
Pewter cups in different sizes may be a collection. Could be used for measuring. Your pot (pottery) you love is a beer stein. The beaded necklace is used in Catholic praying. Each bead represents a prayer or station of the cross. The bed next to the piano tells me that the person might have had difficulty going upstairs to bedroom. The person had not only difficulty walking, but seeing. The dark glasses are to filter iut light for someone with eye problems. ( Cataracts, glaucoma, or retinal damage. Or treatment for eyes when the dialate eyes.).

The beads in the bedroom were a large rosary... a family set. The sunglasses were for people who had light sensitive eyes, like when you have your eyes dialated for a checkup. Love he Renault and all of the clocks! Good explore, take care!

found these traces of vandalism very sad to see, but at least it was there not so badly trashed as you are sometimes also encounterd.
There were still quite nice details like the elaborately carved cabinets visible with the strange soviet decors. - Interesting! - My favourite
room was the bedroom adjacent to the living room with the beautiful cabinet with the Davids star and the very nice upright piano.
The photos were so touching to see, as they showed personal scenes of a lifetime from the former owners frozen in the exact short
moment when the photos were taken.

I've only just started to watch but am in stitches already. Back in the 60's a barn surprise, to me at least, was a neighbourhood boy hiding in the hay bales on my Grandmother's farm in Nova Scotia, waiting to jump out at me to steal a 💋. Summer vacations were either spent dodging him, or daring him to kiss me.
The carved furniture was simply stunning, as were all the clocks. It's such a shame that the place was vandalized; I abhor thieves.
In particular, I found the curtained bedroom very interesting.
I'm running out of steam now.
