- In this video we make it 100% easier to get in and out of a 2023 Ford F150 Lightning by adding OEM take-off Running boards/ Step bars.
I have to say that this was a simple add on that could be done w/ basic hand tools.
Since these were Factory take off, they had blemishes and scuff marks but nothing major. After some quick cleaning and some "Armor all" dressing they look great 👍🙂
As seen on the video this running board were made for a 2019 F150 but they fit the 2023 model perfectly.
The running boards/step bars were purchase from Ebay.

The boards in the video are the fixed ones. They also have folding power running boards. One thing I would do before installing any used power boards is to make sure that the pivot bushing are in good condition. If they are not, then replace them before installing the boards. I think it was a 10 and 12 or 13

You need to verify that the running boards were made for your truck.
If you are not sure then I would suggest, contacting the seller to make sure.
