Omg, my 2012 Hyundai Sonata radio went out 4 years ago. Dealer wanted to charge $3,000 to fix it. Unfortunately, it wasn't covered under warranty🙄. Saw this video yesterday, got the fuse and its WORKING. So happy. No more Bluetooth speakers, lol. Thank you so much for this radio. $5 fix

hi, i have a problem. my Accent stereo works perfectly, i can turn it on and play music even from my phone. but the problem is, the screen itself is blue, so I can't really tell what station i am on the radio. what can i do? are they always the same fuse (the one with the yellow thing).
You can try to change out the fuse to see if the screen reset itself back to original. If it doesnt work then the screen itself is messed up. Replace it with another radio.
sir my hundai tucson 2011 radio power is on and its working but no sound? checked fuses its good?? any idea what could be the problem.
Check the connector at the speakers. Could be loose or no power.

If you replace the fuse and nothing work, then the radio itself is bad or electrical wires issue (broken wires or damaged or loose connectors). For the usb plug, could be the wire or check for the power outlet fuse.
As soon as I replace the 15 amp fuse and put it back it keeps popping so I'm assuming theres a short. Is that a quick fix?
Theres a short either the wires or the radio itself, but most likely is the radio. To replace the radio is around 1 hour 30 mins my guess.
My fuses prongs have been sparked too when I pulled out to check, they were black. These cars are pieces of shit. Taillights always blowing and headlights only work on high. Garbage.

Use a small flat head screwdriver pry the fuse outward away fron the fuse holder.

I have a 2013 Elantra and my clock and radio are not working(black screen) and the key fob doesn’t work all my fuses are good. Does anyone have a solution as to getting a whole new fuse housing or if it is just the head unit it self?
plus my tpms system light blinks for 30 seconds then is solid.

@@keegantodd7345 tpms light on due to low on air pressure. Fill it up to the correct psi (tire pressure label is located on the driver door). After refill to correct psi, if your vehicle has the option to reset the light. If dont have the tpms reset option, you have to drive the car around 30miles and the computer will reset the tires light itself. Now if that doesnt work then the tpms sensor is bad, need to replace the sensor inside the tire.
If the fuses are good, then check the radio connector, could be loose or bad connection. If the connector is good and have power then replace the whole radio unit.

1 check the fuse
2 check the radio connector for damage or loose (radio has to be remove)
3 check for power at the connector (if you know how)
What if radio is working but can’t use button in radio like media, folder even buttons in steering volume up and down not working
If the radio music is working, and the buttons does not work then you have to replace the whole radio unit.

Hi, do you know where I can buy the yellow fuse housing? I went to the mechanic to check it out the radio just won’t turn on and he dropped it inside the car lol he still tried replacing the audio fuse but it still doesn’t work... thanks!
Wow that's a bad mechanic lol. The fuse you can buy at autozone or o'reilys. For the radio fuse housing you can look it up on ebay or call the dealership (they should have it).

The fuse has nothing to do with the volume button. Replacing the radio fuse is to fix when the radio stops working or not turning on. In YOUR SITUATION, you have to replace the whole radio unit.

1: check the fuse should say "radio or multi media"
- if fuse is good go to step 2
2: check for power at the radio connector (remove the radio) - if you know how to check it
- if theres no power, theres a SHORT or OPEN in circuit
- if theres power at the connector go to step 3
3: replace the radio unit

I’m having the same problem but my fuse doesn’t look blown
If the fuse is not blown. Then either the connectors for the radio are loose or not connected in. You have to remove the radio unit to check the connctors and if the connectors are connected and the wries are in good condition, then the radio unit itself is bad (must be replace).
I have tha problem with Santa fe2014
The santa fe is slightly dif. On the fuse cover should lable either "radio or audio" (10 - 15amps fuse) or check the owner manual book, should tells you which fuse. If the fuse is good, then the radio itself can be bad.

@@dmwyt4861 I never heard of radio has a timer. Have you try to disconnect the battery or pull the fuse to reset it?
