Where I live there are black sandy beaches where the sand is mixed black and grey with regular sand. It makes swirls and the black stuff is all iron and magnetic. People collect and sell it online in little packets. If you ever want some magnetic oregon sand lmk and I’ll collect you some next time I visit a beach. I’ll bring magnets to collect it with.

Enoshima is one of my favourite place in japan, really glad you like it. Renting a bike there and cycling along the ocean is also lovely.
