  • Finally, we've arrived. The first snow has melted and we can go for a ride. We preferred to drive carefully, because we don't have much confidence in those 30-year-old tires. The Tisza is surprisingly good to drive. The only criticism is the steering wheel, which we didn't align to the middle position before the ride and made it difficult to hold. Then there's also the rattling loose chrome shifter tube and worse synchro in fourth gear. The dashboard suffered from the original owner's intervention. After sitting in the car and driving a few yards, one finds that one has no desire to cruise at all, but to put a little pedal to the metal and enjoy the ride. The willingly going engine is tempting to do so after all these years, but unfortunately, after the latest modification, it has less power than it could have had, as it has had its compression reduced to 7.5 for trouble-free use of the technical petrol that was heavily used back then. It's been driven out of many barrels. We only did about 2 miles with the Thousand, so we'll look forward to spring. Spring will also see some rust repairs and maybe we'll see you at one of the Skoda reunions.

    Ja so pred pár dňami jednu objavil,musím ju vydolovať z garáže celkom zachovala 42000km...

    Miałem taką w latach 70-tych było to dobre auto, nazywano je 1000 małych błędów ale nie była to prawda. Miło powspominać 😪😪😪

    Interesting they’ve fabricated a 105/120 brake booster and clutch cilinder. Not that the paint was that good, but dry washing with a brush 🙈 for the rest cool video. Nice project.

      Thank you very much. I installed a brake booster and clutch cylinder to my car Š 1100 about 20 years ago to make the car brake better. The old brake cylinder was already in bad condition. Unfortunately the paint is very bad now, so a dry brush wash didn't do it any harm. 🙂

      @@MrSkoda105s I bought the 1100MB in 1995 as a winter car to keep my Skoda 120 from rusting out (described in the 1st video). Yes, the brake booster is combined with drum brakes, (shown in the 2nd video). Drum brakes are better for deep snow, they don't mind frozen snow inside the wheel. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

      @@MrSkoda105s I still have the Škoda 120. It's the first type M, 1983. I drive it in the summer only. It has 295.000 km on the clock. In 2007 I installed
      engine, gearbox and axle from a Rapid 136

      Zatím o tom neuvažujeme, auto je v takovém stavu, že kompletní renovace je mimo finanční i časové možnosti

      Díky. Motor je původně z mojí Š 100. Něco málo jsem popsal v komentářích 1dílu. Upravená hlava, karburátor a zapalováni Favorit. Tyhle motory jsou taková skládačka. Co je uvnitř moc nechci popisovat, ale je to třetí motor co jsem do Tísy postavil z toho co se doma našlo. Jednu super úpravu prozradím, jsou stočené písty na kompresi 7,5 to ubralo možná 10 koní 😀.viz popis

    Ja bych to nemyl a jel.stim zaprášeným 🤣 ja pred nedavnem dostal mb ale tam sem peostrcil hlavu skrze podbeh a koukal na horni rameno 🤣
