If it’s a straight cut and move to the next bit I can cut down a huge amount in a day the thing that takes time is if you have to process the wood aswell
@@andy199121 if it’s a straight forward cut and dump then onto the next one then yeah it’s possible I’ve got a job coming up end of jan removing a hedge row with the TMK400 then destump after I’ll see how quickly I can do that and have a measure up 👍
@@dig84 yeah be good to hear back from you. I’m a hedge layer and got potential a coppicing job next year about 800 metres. Thinking of just subbing out to a shearer to clear the lot then I can come in process and gap up by hand. What areas do you cover?
Suppose to be 400mm in diameter but all depends on the wood you cut I mean with pine I can go a lot bigger well all wood I can go up to about 470-480mm just all depends on how and where you cut really. I can fell a lot bigger just by taking a gob out of one side then cut straight through the other if that makes sense 👍
I work with saw blade on digger but have to put grab on to tidy up when I am finished cutting that's much handyer
great video nice to see a bit of footage of tmk working up close shame bout having no place to put gopro while tree sheering
Cheers like I said I’ll have another look today and see if there is anywhere on there for the camera 👍
Great video, I thought the video footage was fine, as long as you're uploading I'll keep watching 👍
Thank you appreciate it it’s hard when I sit there and think people will think it’s boring so don’t film it 👍
Interesting content again
Great video
Thanks
If you’re shearing an escaped hedge down to the ground, say a stem every metre or 2 how many metres can you do a day?

@@dig84 I’ve heard numbers like 3-400m a day, is that possible?

@@andy199121 sounds good I cover any area as long as the £ is right it doesn’t matter where it is 👍
Good to see the shear working up close. Do you have to sharpen the blade very often?
Havnt sharpened it in a year and that is the god’s honest truth probably will sharpen tomorrow as you can tell it’s starting to tear instead of cut 👍
its All WAYS OF INTEREST
Thank you 👍
What’s the maximum cut on your machine?

Try putting the camera on the roof of the digger?
