They never really were against the Spurs that much, outside of that anomaly with Tim Duncan laughing at Joey Crawford’s poor officiating. Heck in 2013, the refs were actually more in their favor in the Finals against the Heat, but that was a time also whenever the Spurs were actually a household name in the league before they’ve become bad the past few years, seemingly with no sense of direction really. I’m just saying that there can be some exceptions.

Trying to be the good dad, I do my best to teach my young kids (who were watching) about fairness, ethics, and what is right. All any fan wants is for a game to be called this way, evenly, for BOTH sides. It's been challenging late in the fourth watching Kings games. (And yes, statistically it's been proven the Kings have been on the wrong side of the whistle more than any other team according the two minute report as of January, 2023). How many camera angles are in the replay center, about 12? Barnes clearly did not touch DeRozan, clear as day, and yet what do we hear? What were they looking at, their favorite cable TV reruns? It certainly was not a replay. Cameras do not lie, but . . . Enough said.

incredibly bad call. Could have easily decided the game the other way. Not only was there no contact on the shooting arm, Barnes never left the floor standing with two feet flat on the ground the entire play. The new rule could have even been called here as derozan kicked out his legs to try and draw contact which according to the rule should be an offensive foul. Thank you Fox for fixing things again at the buzzer.
@@uclatimsta Derozan also finished his shooting motion perfectly fine and started flailing arms and legs well after the ball was launched to sell the contact.
He still made contact on his shooting arm...before the shot. It is what it is.

He got his feet in Demar's landing space. The ole Zaza/Kawhi call. I do believe some refs would have let that one go, but it was somewhat close enough to justify a call there.

Zaza Pachulia injured kawhi's ankle, in the playoffs, due to Zaza having his feet in Kawhi's landing space, and, as a result, induced the league to start calling this poop during inopportune times.
