Change in the lead who is not a good actor.
Priyettan doing a movie with '2' for the first time though it's not a sequel of Hungama.
It was Priyettan's Bollywood film after a long break from Bollywood.
It was his first comedy movie after a painful depression phase(though he made a great art film and a thriller after that).
But still Hungama 2 was better than the comedies of today and it was not outdated. Maybe Priyettan was trying to make a comedy of slapstick like today but he got disconnected to the roots of situational humor.

Priyadarshan once lost his memory because of a traumatic experience and forgot a crap movie made by him but later made two great films. Acchi or kharab films har director ki hoti hain. Hope he comes back strong.
He knows the details of acting better than many actors. He's too good in comical timing and his expressions are superb.
