There's a reason why i prefer being faceless creator, i want to keep my face private so I don't get pestered by an annoying fans while in a public doing my own thing
Yes, I agree. Creating an additional faceless channel was a good decision, and it will probably remain popular for quite a while. And it's a great option for additional income on TH-cam! This year, I also discovered a great feature called "video dubbing." It's essentially the same content as the original, just in another language. For faceless channels, this is even easier to set up because you don't need to match lip movements. It's a great way to enter new "markets" and capture a larger audience. I've been using the Translation services from AIR Media-Tech, and so far, I'm very satisfied. I haven't tried working with others yet.
As a currently faceless channel due to a few of the things you've mentioned wondering how the choice would affect my channel, thank you for this video. Just hit 400 today.
This is one of your best videos in a very long time! I agree 100% on your points here. Most of my channels, including mine with 20 Million views, are mostly faceless. The only exception is when I have to hand launch a plane lol 👊🏻💥👊🏻
I've considered a faceless for a long time. The first few minutes gave me sime thoughts for sure. The information you provide is always excellent food to feast on.
Another well thought out and thoughtful video. Faceless channels has its place but I think building a personal brand is something very powerful and your channel doesn't have to be very large to benefit from it. Faceless videos still work really great for me on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I also use a little bit of fame - ster, but that's a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos small initial boost, and that caused them to spread literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views day after day.

Got my channel since the early 2000, for the longest I'm having trouble of what I should put on my channel, due to self-image issues and English isn't my native language, but I finally just started posting my horror motion comic few days ago
For me, the issue is my genre versus my age. I'll be going full-time with TH-cam later this year after retirement from my day job. I'm an "old guy" and my niche is indie music promotion for young artists. That age issue is a problem there and I don't currently work with any younger people. It's just me. The channel, a different one that this account, plays music videos using the artist's music and will be mostly AI video mixed with real footage where possible. The focus is on the artists, not me. So I'm using younger sounding voiceovers (hi-quality AI) to do introductions and narratives. There aren't any artist interviews planned right now. So we are doing faceless for that one, as well as using an entirely different voice.
@@RobertoBlake Yeah, the other interesting thing about my channel now is I've been using AI to replicate my personality and brand to a point where nobody can tell the difference. I've got a friend who's considered helping me with the outsourcing of some of my videos. Using my personality and image with my consent to build my channel out with different types of content. In a sense, automating part of the process.
Hi, I believe you mentioned on one of your videos that while building up watch hours for monetization that we may not want to put the best videos up because we arent being paid for them. Does that mean that I wont be paid for views of vidoes published prior to monetization even after my channel becomes monetized? Hope that makes sense. Thanks for any answer you can provide.
Faceless for me. I've done my years of being known and having small polite words with folks I don't remember, sure... stardom is an ego boost, but sometimes ya just wanna have a quiet evening and go get a sandwich. Add that today, being recognized can be a danger.
Are you reading my mind? I have always wanted my videos to be without my face but I often get discouraged because I know people like to connect with people but I still don't want to show my face. Maybe I will make podcast videos where I will just talk about life as in friends sitting and talking together style, what do you think of that? Your opinion means so much to me.

My issue is that AI faceless channels are popping up! I wish YT would flag AI generated content automatically as TikTok instead of relying on self reporting
I think if your a dude and you don't have a really pretty face you absolutely should do a faceless channel cus not having that and doing cam videos would probably make your gaming video carrier fail before you even started

Once monetized you can START earning from those videos…
But will receive no money from views they earned BEFORE monetization became active.
@@RobertoBlake awesome! I really appreciate you responding.
Thanks
You're welcome! 🙏🏾
Godbless my journey from 970 to 1k
Keep going
yup
Faceless for me. I've done my years of being known and having small polite words with folks I don't remember, sure... stardom is an ego boost, but sometimes ya just wanna have a quiet evening and go get a sandwich. Add that today, being recognized can be a danger.
Totally understandable, especially in today’s climate. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Its been said that I have that ability 😝
People can still connect with a faceless channel. Many of my most watched content that I view has been from faceless channels
great
Thanks 🙏🏾 What was the most helpful thing you got from the video?
What about a fake beard or another disguise?
😝
@RobertoBlake LoL
What would be the first thing that I need to do to start working with you?

@ ok thanks. Yes I’m a little familiar with it because I’ve watched your last 20 videos. But I wanted you to let me know my next step. I didn’t want to put the cart before the horse! Lol 😂
And you're cute, says a 64 year old woman. Lol Thanks for the information. Very good.
Reality is, at least for me, faceless channel are so competitive, there are plenty of them
But not that many that are very good
So I don’t wear weird masks I do have a cartoon face my daughter made me but it’s just because I don’t want pic on my channel. BUT my channel is mostly just my hands. I do planner content so I don’t Need to be on camera. I could, but I don’t want to.
Had more luck creating a faceless instagram page 😅
Interesting. Any insights there?
My issue is that AI faceless channels are popping up! I wish YT would flag AI generated content automatically as TikTok instead of relying on self reporting
TH-cam’s systems are already incredibly flawed and copyright abuse is a bigger issue
@ That’s an issue that they need to fix because competitors like TikTok do a better job
I think if your a dude and you don't have a really pretty face you absolutely should do a faceless channel cus not having that and doing cam videos would probably make your gaming video carrier fail before you even started
There is some truth in that
@RobertoBlake everyone would call me a hateful incel or sexist for saying that because I'm a man lol
Peace to the Saints. Makes me think. Thanks for making this
Thanks 🙏🏾 What was the most helpful thing you got from the video?
@@RobertoBlake The part about faceless channels being easier to scale and maintain, especially with the ability to dub in multiple languages, really stood out. Appreciate you sharing that Saint 🙏🏾
I started my faceless channel a few months ago and I'm on a very slow grind to get views/ subs. When I saw the thumbnail, I was really anxious and worried because I thought Roberto was going to say something like 'Faceless channels will be dead in 2025'. After watching the video, I am relieved and happy.
They’ve been with the platform from the beginning and there is an audience for them. Always will be.
Yoooooo 😂😂😂😂
I think I have a faceless channel. Not sure. Lol
😝
@ Lol.
