Gus’s is our favorite fried chicken place!!!! Those collards and mac and cheese look amazing! But, those calcites in that cave…. 😍 I (Lori) collect rocks so the cave is totally my jam!
@@billandlisa if you guys ever make it to mountains of North Carolina, you need to check out Linville Caverns. It's spectacular and it's a lot easier of a hike. It's a gradual grade rather a steep one. Totally worth checking out!

We have caverns in new Braunfels TX about 15 minutes from San Antonio tx. Which are called natural bridge caverns. For me the mom and pop restaurant was the best on this trip. Blessings to you two and careful going home. 🥪❤

Another fantastic video! Thanks! The Japanese restaurant looked great! The sushi portions seemed very generous for the price and so fresh looking! The Caves were really interesting and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a large portion of sweet and sour chicken!! That’s what I call comfort food…. and as for Gus’s fried chicken 🤌😊 best of all I managed to work out how to link my phone to my tv so I was able to watch you in ultra hd widescreen!! Almost like being in the restaurant! Wow, Birmingham certainly has a LOT to offer if you’re a foodie! 👍

Sammy's is like George's near me, run by a Greek couple, they used to have the same food board but upgraded to a fancy digital one about a year ago. I love Texas de Brazile, I get a bowl of goat cheese from the salad bar for the rolls and meat. Disappointed that they're charging extra for lamb chops now...at least at the one in Tustin it was included. Another great video B & L!
yes, the pho soup is really good!!! i have made my own soup not like pho, but noodles instead of the instant broth packet, healthy, try it, you'll like it!!!
How does Texas de Brazil compare to fogo de chao, in your opinion? And I like how you guys adjust your voice volume during vlog to be appropriate for different dining settings (and presumably not to be a bother to other diners).
We've been to both, we like Texas De Brazil better. Not to knock Fogo, they're good too. Just that Texas seems to season their meat a bit more aggressively. Correct on the voice volume. =)
Best Texas we Brazil is in San Antonio Texas. My coworkers and I went after a work conference and it's the only meats I enjoyed on the level my father can grill.It was pricey at about $50 per person but we enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you for the eating. I have come to enjoy Brazilian Steak Eateries. Your comments about the taste and juicy meats made me want to eat right now. I have had overcooked meats in the past, With a little research and asking I believe you can enjoy many good eats as you travel. Eating local, not chain like Sammy's, often is an enjoyable meal.

Next time you're back in Birmingham you must try the smoked chicken at Ms. Myra's in Cahaba Heights. The restaurant is on the backside of the Summit shopping center. I enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing.

Hey guys, just as a side note, just came back from Vegas. Stopped at Oscars for that ribcap. Damn was that good. Now the interesting thing, here in the SF bay area nobody does a ribcap. I found one Steakhouse in LA, Carlitos Argentine, that does it. The funny thing is most of the steak houses in Vegas have the ribcap on the menu. Great cut of meat.
Man, that looks good. I went to several churrascarias while in Sao Paulo. The USA version is similar. I don't remember pork ribs there but the beef offered to you guys looks just the same and it was tasty. The only thing I couldn't do was the lamb...not my taste. Always enjoy seeing your videos. The caverns remind me of the Calico Mine train at Knott’s Berry Farm! Also, I’ve never been to a sushi restaurant that puts wasabi on the sushi itself. The wasabi is always on the side but I think I prefer wasabi already on my sushi now 😂 easier for me.

It was Nelson ghost town in Eldorado canyon about 45 minutes south of boulder city.

Probably depends on the sushi chef. We've been to several places where a small dab of wasabi is put in between the fish and rice.
I finally tried a popeye's chicken sandwich! We will be getting a chick fa la here soon! Looking forward to trying that jesus chicken! 😁
