Do you know if this works for PS4
I just built this house on the xbox one following the tutorial and it worked exactly the same. I would assume the ps4 will work also.

Yes it does but i do not recommend building it on a pvp sever because like an hour after u built it it got raided
Thanks for the upload, here is my version of the house. th-cam.com/video/-Y38caN1pO8/w-d-xo.html followed the tutorial but added a front porch on the side to put a gas grill, changed the two double doors in the back to a dino gate and put irrigated crop plots in place of the raptor stables.

My first beginner house in ark was two storage boxes
My intermediate house was a 1x1x1 thatch cube
My advanced house was a 2x2x2 wood cube (with windows, fancy!)
And then there's this guy with a beginner house....

I made 80% of his builds on Ragnarok private session so I can film them and show them off(of course, crediting him) and I accidentally deleted the save. Rolled back, had only half the buildings so I got mad and quit playing for a month. Just got back, lol

note to anyone on pc using the ladder thing to make sure stuff is straight, you can use arrow keys to look up and down if you dont want to risk skewing left or right

Love this design. I also did a change where I replaced the fence support things and doors by the back with a larger wooden gate which fits perfectly between the pillars
That’s a beautiful little house. I think I’m going to build it in my solo world once I get ready to settle down in a more permanent location.

This house is super nice, but when I tried to build it I found that I couldn't walk under the catwalks, my head would always get caught on them unless I crouched. It still looks fantastic without them and I can't thank you enough, just thought I'd mention it.

I've never been able to make an aesthetically pleasing house usually when I get higher tier on a server I just make like a 7x7 stone cube with multiple floors xd I need to start making better houses.
I wasn't a fan of the music but this video was constructed and executed VERY well. Love the build man.

I had the same problem. Place the pillars as you go. That worked for me

Beginner base with more detail than a top tier base
When building the back triangular wall at the back, after youve added catwalks, the wall section above the double door won't snap into place
That's the issue I'm running into

Its unfortunate that pvp bases are all just big boxes
Not mine. Confusing pyramid with low profile and wide field of fire for turrets. Designed to be the most annoying time wasting monstrosity on the planet. My entire philosophy is to waste an attackers time and make them rage quit. Using force or loads of turrets is an enjoyable challenge to raiders. If you want them to go away use bear traps everywhere, make things that look like vault rooms that are empty, put weak thatch rooms designed to break and release harasser dinos. Use wooden ladders and walkways so they break the access walkways while blasting in. Store all of your good stuff in a random kelp wad at the bottom of the ocean. No rewards for raiders. Works like a charm. Worth it for the lols too.

Matthew Surabian I build towers that are designed to look like they were already raided and hide little rooms in them. I lasted almost an entire year in one on the center
I play on pc and I tried this build, but once I got to 6:33 my fence supports would only snap on in v shapes

The trick is, you look at that and feel so bad that the base builder followed a tutorial to build a house that can easily be raided that they leave it alone.

I have this issue on PC - first fence post goes in fine then can't snap straight out after that one. So frustrating

I cant rotate the wall on top of the catwalk and that effects which way the sloped wall is placed
Hmm, trying to do the fence. After 2 snaps, the 3rd says it need foundation support. So can only snap 2 then it becomes red :/
Placing a fence foundation straight off of the last placed fence support allows you to continue placing them. - Ran into this issue as well.
I cant get the foundation to snap in at all, it will on one side, but on the other it only snaps underneath the foundation
3rd one wont snap, fence foundations make no difference, any ideas?
I always forget that most of the building techniques don't work with S+ structures, you would have to replace the original with an S+ version

I REALLY like this house. I just built it, and the only problems had to do with where I built it. Also the fact that I have around 30 dinos and needed to add a dino gate and make the pen bigger, but we dont talk about that
Hey man at 8:37 I can't get the door frame to be on the ground it's always elevated whenever I place it or rotate it how can i make it flush with the ground?
Do you have the pillars in the ground enough?

the minimum settings are VERY low... only high requirement is the storage (pref an SSD) with low settings you can run it on a potato but it of course won't be as pretty but it will still be wicked fun

Just started playing ARK solo mode found a nice quiet safe spot above the beach and have set to work building this little cabin. Gonna raise me some dodo's. A few crops and keep it as my beach house. Great build like all your others

I went and built a bigger version of this (8x4/4x2/2x2 instead of 4x2/2x1/1x1) on South Haven/Herbivore Island on the western beachfront. It served me well the entire game. Thanks a bunch!
Is that on the island map? The bottom right island?
@@danagay5135 Yes. I'd suggest making at least the foundations and bottom floor walls out of stone so an aggro'd Bronto or Trike doesn't break everything. Still the safest place on the map if you can get there without getting ganked by sharks or leeds, and there are silica pearls & trilobytes all over the place once you get your diving gear.
@@danagay5135 Oh, it just occurred to me to mention this, the coding for South Haven has this interesting little nugget about there ALWAYS being four Bronto's in the area at all times, so once you get strong enough to take one out, you can just keep farming them as much and as often as you like. It's a great way to power-level a Rex, a Yuty or an Allosaur pack and you can quickly stock up on Prime Meat and Hide at the same time (Prime Meat lasts longer in a Tame's inventory than it does in yours, hint hint).
@Balorak146 How do you get your rex over there👀 gonna be honest my character is like level 80 but I'm still basically living by the beech just moved into an area above the swamp because my hubby likes it. Was planning on flying over there when I had a pterodactyl again but they definitely can't carry the rex
@@danagay5135 You can turn a raft into a tame ferry. 8 foundations (3x2 then one more each on either side of the rudder), one or two walls tall, then lay ceilings and six ramps angled toward the ground. Set up railings instead of walls on the top's back and sides so you can still see where you're going without having to worry about dropping your tames in the water.
Imagine making the whole map an ark city

You could lay horizontal cables across the entire map and provide electricity to the whole thing using one single generator.

This build look awesome for solo and PVE how ever i am sure it could be tweaked to with stand a pvp server if you hide it well and make it hard to find let alone reach.

I do it on official PVP. I’ve been doing it for years just because I’m super OCD about base building. Everyone makes fun of me for it. But it looks damn good when you’re done!
