I re-watched the video and to make it clear we have 2 acetabular arteries: 1. Acetabular branch from the obturator artery, it reaches the head through the ligament of the head of the femur and it is important in children. 2. Acetabular branch from the medial circumflex femoral artery and it forms the retinacular arteries which are the main supply to the head of the femur. See page 7 of the Lower Limb Book (text and photos)
Thank you doctor , But I have questions First , Does the 2nd perforating artery supply hamstring or just the femur? And does the profunda femoris directly supply hamstring by its muscular branches or just its perforating branches? Is the profunda called also the deep femoral artery?
Very good questions. 1. The hamstring is supplied by all the perforators. 2. The profundity femoris itself is in the front of the thigh and doesn't supply the hamstring directly but through the perforating branches. 3. The profunda is the deep femoral artery.

Retinacular arteries are the main supply.
