I ended up canceling my pre order, I had the original and sold it a few years back. Hoping we get an animated series doc ock. I feel they could us the modular iron man but we will see.
In this instance, I am grateful to never have gotten the original releases. Just goes to show there's always hope if you missed out on older figures, as rereleases/updates are becoming more common.
Really big thanks for the video. This 2pack is well kinda good and kinda meh because well I'm not going to speak to much about silk because she is pretty good and there are no bad sides for me. But ock ehhhhh......... Well first of all this is my chance to finally get him, and this is my perfect doctor octopus by the desgin, proportions, bright green and yellow. But one thing that pisses me off are those tentacles. Man I really want to scream and shout at people from hasbro which decided to not give him bendy wires. At least tentacles look good IMO so I can say this is the best looking Doc ock of all time. and we have some accessories like pissed off and calm head, two fists and relaxed hands. But if it comes to functioning it is the worst ( or technically IMO the previous one is the worst now but it is the same figure). Anyway because there is practically no articulation in the most important attribute of doc ock which is directly his second and most important part which makes him able to kill a spider-man and so without them any fat scientist in close combat would not have a chance with him. XD If they didn't want to use wires then they could at least hand over them in these Pincers. so that they can open and close so that they can, for example, catch a spider man properly. And the second thing. If they didn't want to use wires, they could do it like with octopus from the line: 3 3/4 inch marvel infinite series. Where the octopus in each tentacle had a rotation at one point, and here they could make more such a rotation in each part that connects those tentacles, and then the positions of those tentacles could be repositioned perhaps in a much more efficient way than it would even be with wires. Although you would have to think about it and it wouldn't be that easy, but it's always better than nothing. But I really hope soon they'll give him those damn wires in his tentacles as promised in the future. If it would be an octopus design: either with spider-man vs sinister six also green and yellow but slightly changed with longer pants and a different head. or in a white suit. God forbid not with TAS XD (Will not match the comic display for me) . and if I could swap those tentacles with the previous one, I'd be really happy.

We all know everyone is getting this for the Doc Ock. I'm getting really tired of Hasbro putting extremely sought-after figures in packs with characters nobody gives a fuck about. Neither of these figures are new, the both have old bodies with one new head each. It was the same shit with the renew your vows two pack but at least those figures made sense together. What does classic 70's doc ock have to do with silk? This set is already $80 because Hasbro's stock is trash and it's even worse when they do exclusives like this.
