Amazing review. I bought the old one a week ago and now I saw a new one is coming up in summer at Europe. Now I am considering returning mine and get the new one in a couple of weeks.

Great video and very informative! You have definitely convinced me to purchase one when it comes out here in Canada this summer. Just curious, does the hair dryer attachment also work as a regular blow dryer? Is it as powerful as one?
Hi lovely! Thank you so much, I’m so excited for you! Yes it does, it just twists at the top to either the blow dry setting or the flyaway smoother setting! I found it just as powerful as a normal blow drier and it dries my hair just as quickly which is amazing for how small the vent is 🥰 it’s also super lightweight so I never find that my arm aches haha! xx
@@ParisChandler thank you so much for your input. 😊 Yes, I was a bit skeptical on how well the blow dryer attachment would work considering how small the vent is. Good to know it’s still very powerful. 😊
Sorry if you said this and I missed it but did you get the long barrel or regular? The long says it’s for chest length and longer and my hair is same length as yours… slightly shorter than chest but not short short 😅
no problem lovely! i got the regular however if the long option was available i probably would’ve gone for that - i think i will purchase the long barrel when it becomes available to buy separately as my hair is quite thick! hope that helps 🥰 🤍
@@ParisChandler so do you prefer the shorter barrels or longer barrels? :) as u mentioned in the video, u prefered the shorter ones as the curls hold longer?
@@diyanah3285 Hi sorry if i wasn’t clear but I meant the SLIMMER barrel holds the curl better. My hair has grown considerably since this video now and I purchased the longer barrel separately and it is much better for my length and thickness of my hair, but the slimmer barrel holds the curl better (I think it’s the 30MM one)
@@ParisChandler thanks for the reply! So you prefer the longer barrels? Is there any difference though in how long the curls last or looks like comparing between the long and short barrels? Or does it just means you save more time with the longer barrels? :)
@@diyanah3285 I prefer the long barrels , my hair is down to my chest and very thick. The standard length barrels make more of a ringlet curl and the longer barrels create a softer curl on my hair , they both last the same xx
quick question! did the package come in a brown box or did you have a package with the name Dyson all over it? Im trying to figure out if the one i purchased was previously used.
I'm confused!! I thought dyson said the hair has to be 80% dry before curling? Yours looks lush though and you've done your curls whilst your hair is dry???
aww thank you! yes you’re right they do say that - i think that just helps the curls to last a bit longer as it allows your hair to dry in the curled style if that makes sense … my hair holds curls pretty well anyway so i don’t find i need to leave it too damp! hope that helps xxx
@Paris Chandler thank you so much!!!! My dyson is coming tomorrow and undoubtedly ill be spending all day playing with it!!! My hair is quite fine so I think I'll try it damp first and see how I get on and then try it dry!!! Xx
@@ParisChandler thank you for responding. I wish Dyson actually told users the proper way to store the accessories in the box as part of their instructions. Especially if you purchased the new long barrels.
@@ParisChandler because they said the new one has also coanda effect because there is also air coming out in de middle of the brush! Do you notice that? And the curls are better then the original ones right? More tight And easier offourse ;)
@@tashabella3902 oh i see!! yes you can definitely notice the difference when i used the firm smoothing brush, it worked really well! i can notice the air with the curling barrels, the hair grips to the barrels a lot better xx

Mine had both - so many boxes! But yes, many brown boxes and only 1 black box with dyson on itm

How did you repack the box? The long barrels don’t stand straight up and down in my box….not sure of the proper way to repack it.
