I saw you didn’t get an answer so I am giving. If you want to dry it will take time. If you only want to do the curl it take 5 min I have shorter than the girl in video but it isn’t that short. My hair were better after using Dyson. It is heavier than other curler but cause you have many things to take with you. But you don’t have to carry everything. I don’t know what kind of hair structure you have. If you have silky hair you need hair spray. Sorry for my english it isn’t my native language

My hair has a tendency to be frizzy and unmanageable about half the time, which usually deters me away from doing anything with it (except for getting it cut every 3 or 4 months). So even though I typically don't like keeping my hair long, would you say this would work for us short hair girls?
I definitely don't see why it wouldn't work with short hair! In regards to the frizz, it sounds like you may get some benefit from using some sort of product before hand to set the hair in place! the box was extremely heavy, I arrived at the mall and bought it first because i was too excited and ended up dragging it around the mall with my arm getting really tired before I went home 😂 if you got it online or at the shop, they do personalized name embossing on the box.

Okay this is what my hair stylist said!! “blended highlights to the root but then do a little bit of a root tap to soften the line and make it a little more and natural. We lift to a 8/9 and tone it to a level 8 beige” I honestly don’t know what that means but you’re stylist should :)
Hmm I haven’t seen an unboxing of the new one yet but I have the older one and I personally think the inside is better on mine. It has compartments that aren’t pure cardboard and the base holder is nicer. It also comes with a heat pad and a flip lid which I like more. The single curling barrel would be nice. All that being said, congrats on your new tool
Is the heat pad the same one that came with the supersonic? Dyson wants the lid to be flipped upside down to use as a mat. I never thought of using that mat that came with my supersonic.
haha jealous of your compartments, I was pretty confused why the dividers were made of cardboard, because I don't see a way I can get rid of them and stay organized! Seems like an odd choice to make for the updated one!

Their last version have it, but for some reason the one I order from Dyson did not . May be it is just mine ? I found the cord become quit tangle because of that .
Hi! Thanks so much for watching :) Mine didn’t come with a cord holder! I was thinking the same thing - I feel like something to hold the cord together would be nice. You can probably get a Velcro fastener on amazon! I’ll probably do that!
It comes with a dryer attachment, but it dries slower than the supersonic. I have fine fairly thick straight hair, and I usually use my supersonic. I do like to use the brush attachment on the airwrap when I dry my hair, because it comes out so sleek. I don’t have to hold the supersonic in one hand and a brush in the other. The airwrap gives a lot of control that way.

Oh yay!! I kept all of my T3 curling irons cause they’re my favorite 🤭 I like the Fit dryer! It’s a little less powerful than the AireLuxe dryer but for the size it’s pretty dang impressive and powerful!!

The updated long version case doesn't come with compartments because the long barrels won't fit standing up.

It depends on your hair type but you will most likely want products to hold your curls!

Are you really supposed to turn it off every time you do a curl? I definitely have not been doing this 😅
I find that the curl holds better when I shut the airwrap off to release the curl, and that is what Dyson recommends.

It's great, but for those curls just fell out too quickly, and became more like gentle waves. I would want the option of a tighter curl.
