The amount of love and understanding the whole family shows to Jameson being overwhelmed and not being upset with him not reacting or being excited about a gift had me full on meltdown crying. Like actually sobbing. My hearted needed to see that today with all of the love possible. Similar with our family. We’re mostly minorities so whenever a new person is welcomed to the family through like marriage or a partner their always nervous at first but like we are so welcoming. We’re so diverse that everyone is just welcome.

And just know that it will get better. most likely not straight away but I promise you it will get better. And if anybody out there is struggling, just know help is out there and whilst it may be hard to find the help you need. there is people who can and do, want to help you. Last night I watched the Xmas gift opening home video from when I was Autumn’s age, and my brother was Jameson’s age. 35yrs ago, and I can’t believe Thomas STILL hasn’t gone off the side of a bridge, it’s the same characters, better toys. But keep these videos somewhere special for the kids. They *will* want to see them when they’re elderly and bone-crunchin’. It was a nice feeling.
