RedHotBSSM There is a basss solo in the middle of the song where Flea plays with some kind of effect (don´t know which one exactly) but in this performance it is Josh who plays it. 4:58
Ignacio Barzdevics they both that little funk solo part in the recording, and theyre both playing it here as well, joshs' part just sounds much more pronounced here because flea isnt using the effect from the recording

It's not like they asked John to leave and so they can ask him back again. John went of his own accord, and he's making completely different music. I really, really miss John (from RHCP's live shows especially) but I also love the solo work he is doing, and as fans we have to respect his decision. I think it shows his integrity that he chose to pursue artistic development over money and fame.

But he's obviously nothing like John, and I think RHCP were a far better live band when John was with them. And John's electronic stuff just requires an open mind and patience. When I first listened to PBX I was horrified. But now it's one of my favourite albums of his. If you honestly think he will return to RHCP anytime soon then you are deluded.
