Locktite can be done by hand you dont need heat especially on a heat resistant substance mate , unless you're using red which RC people don't , the use blue which is easily removed by hand work
Either replace the plug, or take it out, wire brush it and set the gap between 0.3 and 0.4mm, mine was randomly cutting out and this sorted it. Even although it sparks fine when out
Before I run mine ,I always lift it off the ground to make sure the wheels don't be turning , 2 strokes are notorious for clutch problems, it's why I went to brushless and decided to rebuild my ansmann terrier instead lol
Thanks for the content. Got a tip the the the old mole grips. If you wrap a stack of paper round (old mag or junk mail), grip on to that. It wont mar up the metal ;-)
I wanted to ask, can the head be painted. Obviously it’ll won’t hold a normal paint as it’ll heat up and peel off, but I was thinking of painting it with heat resistant paint.
Quick question outside of air leaks is it possible for the wrong glow plug to make a engine stall especially at idle. The car wont stay running long enough to warm up actually after a brief run i bring the car to a stop and it just stalls lean n everything or increase n the idle just make the car run away. I was wondering if you could help me out the car is a hpi vorza 4.6 thanks id appreciate it
@@HaggardRC yeh there is a decision to be made there. I think the engine gets well over 100 degrees on a hot day, so hopefully there is tolerance in there. I would rather replace a bearing then have to drill out a stripped screw.
I remember when those hit the local rc shops. nothing but running problems out of the things , mostly connecting rods breaking. terrible engine design.
that is a cool car ;) keep the vids coming ;)
Cool video, looking forward for the next episode ⛽️👍
Good idea bud hope fix works
hi haggard , most rc guys use locktide so heat it up my friend dont mess around 👍😉

Your impact driver, can take the hex socket off, but on a 3/8 drive 1/4af socket. Use any 1/4 hex bit you need.

Yeah, paint it it'll be fine with heat resistnt paint!
Your clutch shoe spring broke off. My jato did the same oh the savage octane got the aluminum clutch shoe.
Stone is wedged between the pinion and spur

A bad plug will cause it to stall or not idle.
Put a new one in and see what happens.
@@HaggardRCok cool thanks il try it
It’s a clutch
Loctite breaks at about 200 degrees celsius so you probably needed a bit more than that lighter to get it up to temperature.
What ever the case, it came out… that’s all that matters lol
@@HaggardRC agreed. Just meant for future reference.
To be fair I was thinking of the bearings I almost got the blow torch out lol
