Putting these up on a few of my favourite TH-cam channels. You guys are all invited to check out @theleadsearcher page on Twitter. WWWH refers to “a coming of age” from childhood into adulthood. Think of bar mitzvah or quinceañera. This correlates to an entrance on the map. That’s what borders means in the book. And depending which map you’re looking at there are more than just one “border”. The key word in the poem is ‘quest’. The entire theme of the poem refers to a ‘vision quest’ that Forrest had when he was 13. The “canopy of stars” that Fenn referred to in the announcement is seen from inside the sweat lodge where he performed his ‘vision quest’. This was a pivotal moment for him. When the sweat lodge is uncovered you can see the stars at night from the ceiling. What a beautiful solve!
First time seeing this, Mike. Well said, my friend! I can't believe the actions of some of the "players" in this Chase. Keep in mind, however, the poem cam still be solved and Forrest's special place is still there to discover. Chase on...!
I agree with most of what you said on lawyers and leaving Fenn alone and being patient and their choice to reveal the location. Only thing I don't think I'd do is try and make money off the reveal location. I do think what would be cool is let the chase continue. Him and Fenn could make a memorial at the location and start like a geo cash treasure so people can still enjoy the hunt for the location. Writing his own book and adventure might be cool if he actually had some adventures. Like I did in my searching around COLO. and NM. Thanks for video. Good luck next adventure.
Your right this was a once in a lifetime hunt I won’t be getting into another one just hard to let go of this one. Hopefully we all get closure and the solution is eventually released take care
There are always treasure hunts. Keep the channel going. Some in the community seemed to start acting like it was THEIR treasure hunt. We all chose to join the chase. We all chose how much time & money to invest. The "community" most refer to is the visible group & group that met up. There were well over 100k searchers. The "community" was a small percentage of that.
Clue one. Lines 1-4. The Chapel of Light in Montezuma NM. Associated with the School. Lines 4-8 has 4 clues. Where warm waters halt is across the creek from the School. There is a hot spring. The path leading to the spot descends, opposite of the river itself. The whole area is less than a 1/4 mile worth of walking. Home of Brown refers to the Outlaw Brown from Dodge City, At the Hot Springs is an old jail cell. Lines 9-12. Across the old bridge is a forest. You are about 100 yards or so away. The heavy loads and water high refer to the loch or small little damns in the creek. Lines 13-16, The Blaze is a fire pit. It's got a stack of Rocks. I went to dig up the pit. I got about 18 in when I broke the shovel and left it in an X. I knew it might be in the rocks but couldn't bring myself to tear it all down. That and I had a real bad feeling about that necklace. Lines 17-20. Tired and weak. Building the fire pit. Lines 21-24. In the Woods. Literally. If you look at the Map, the outline looks just like how an archaeologists hole would look if you dug it out. Montezuma is in the little spot at the bottom of the hole. Just below where you'd think it would be.
Well said...Forrest and the finder doesn't own us a damn thing! And it also felt like someone died to me, and then I learned tonight that searcher, Heather Dawn killed herself, and that hurt more than losing the treasure. God bless you, and God Bless you all and your losses too! Love Dawna
Completely agree Michael, it was great therapy... And I, for one, got way more than my money's worth out of it! Problem is, my "therapist" is now "dead".... Hope I can find another one who is just as cheap!
I'm not a treasure hunter and I never searched for the FFT, however, there are so many people who did. I feel Forrest should eventually solve the clues and tell everyone what meant what. Too many people spent a lot of time and effort looking for the treasure and some sacrificed even more. They have the right to know how close they may have come so the puzzle should be solved without identifying the finder. The finder has every right to remain anonymous if he or she so chooses.
Thank you Michael for sharing that with us I never got a chance to start the hunt I read the books and was thinking a lot of it so I never got a chance to really have a solve or wouldn't that be great if Forrest Fenn would hide another treasure thank you so much for Forrest Fenn God bless your family and you
Just came across your video. I'll never understood why a person can't express themselves without using so much profanity. Yes, I'm an old person, but always saved the profanity for shock value, on rare occasions. I know you're from a much younger generation who treats the "F" word as just another word in their vocabulary, which must limited. At least you did apologize for its usage. I'm sure you knew at least one old senior would have negative comments, guess that's me. I know none of your viewers will agree with my comment. Other then the profanity, enjoyed your reasoning and presentation. Take care.
I guess you did use it for shock effect. Guess my comment was uncalled for, not to have seen any of your previous videos. Stay true to yourself. I would bet you did your community justice with your research and sharing. Accept my apology.
Agreeded. As much as I wanna know where it was, I gotta respect Fenn and the finder. I think years from now the finder will come forward. Although a part me of says he’ll probably take his secret to the grave. RIP sir Fenn. Even tho I didn’t partake in the hunt I’m so greatful for what he did
Thank you for this! It brings me quasi-closure. I feel like a recovering addict 😂. I just need the true home of Brown at this time and I'll be content. Please, please at least give me the actual state ...
Well said!! Personally, I’m holding onto the hope that the finder, does NOT reveal where Forrest’s special place is at. I want to find it myself, because I feel the knowlege needs to be earned. To make it public, would “pollute” it some how.
For those who must have the answer, here is the SIMPLE, DIRECT one-picture solution: www.dropbox.com/s/u6pbe4edgs96g4j/Using%20the%20Poem%20as%20Map.jpg?dl=0 First you had to find the “right” triangle as shown on the front cover of Too Far to Walk. This was found by drawing lines on Google Maps between the 4 map points given in the poem: Waters Canyon, CO; Marvel, CO; Angel Fire, NM (blaze#1), and Casa Marron, NM (home of Brown). Second, you cut out the poem and placed it as directed in Stanza 2 of the poem, with top right corner placed (“Begin it) on the CO/NM border, and the poem body then turned south toward the Rio Grande Canyon (“canyon down”), then the lower left corner of the poem put in below Casa Marron. The blaze#2 in the poem then points to coordinates 36.6355, -106.2105 The chest was in New Mexico in the Carson National Forest. Two of the important clues are in Colorado, one clue location is on the CO/NM border, and three clues are in New Mexico. The remaining 3 clues are not really needed but serve as fillers and padding to make the poem the right length. It was important to keep the poem the same size and shape as the original, so the poem could be used as a map. The clue locations ON LAND in the real world are not close together, are not consecutive, not contiguous, and not chronological. You really did not have to find where warm waters halt first. (Waters because Waters Canyon was named after Mrs. Waters who lived there in the early days). That turned out to be misleading, because if you started with home of Brown, you could use the poem-as-map and the edge of the right triangle to reverse-engineer and determine where warm waters halted. The blaze#3 was not visible with Google Maps until 2016, when the resolution increased enough to see it. You can still see it (blaze#3) at: 36.6355, -106.2105. - - - -
Dude, I know what he means by “Jackson Park was halfway”. You’re gonna feel enlightened when I run down the list at some point here soon. I even figured out the Lincoln Memorial clue, and also what “Teacher With Ropes Means”!!!
I’m with ya! There are always those who feel entitled to something. Well, guess what cupcake this is a treasure hunt. There are no participation trophies!
Just watched all of your vids. Great job on the different aspects of the poem. Each of the tubers had some key ideas that, if combined, could've lead to the correct solution. I especially enjoyed the misconceptions video. You made some great points. You missed a big one, though. The original 8.25 mile statement was never proven to have been made by Forrest. The person who made that statement about the chain links spelled Forrest's name wrong. Forrest did adopt it, however he was sarcastic about it. I never included anything that didn't come directly from Forrest.
Only thing I d be stuck on is whether to sell it all at once or monetize every little piece in the treasure right down to the sealed olive jar. Hard to hate when ff always said it was up to the finder whether to reveal it or not. I agree there will never be another hunt like this BUT.. I am going to do Gallows Harbor when it comes out.
Great video. There's no reason at all to believe Fenn is lying. His whole life has been lived in pursuit of adventure, and he saw that spirit dying off in the modern age. He tried to rekindle the way of life that had brought him so much satisfaction. Ultimately, the joke is on the cynics. What a terrible existence it must be, living to tear down great people.
I think it was in NM at Angel fire over look me and my wife went there twice it was fun and I would like to know where it was found I just want to know if we got close. If you see this ff thank you for the adventure it was fun
The firehole halts at Madison junction. But if you follow it down you would find yourself driving down firehole canyon. Eventually you will pass a place called buscuit basin. Also known as the home of rusty geyser..... ironically past that point the firehole branches off to iron spring meek.....i mean creek... iron spring creek. Now if you cross to the nigh side of that creek and follow it you will come to the black sand basin.... If you come to the double horse shoes you've gone too far.... stop at black sand basin... make sure your not at sunset pool or rainbow pool.... you want to make sure your at emerald pool. Once you look around that area you will be overwhelmed with the things you start noticing. But go back to the book.... find the one picture that is in color see if you notice anything that rings any bells...... If your standing at emerald pool follow the iron spring creek into the woods. It will lead you to a sage brush flat with a single tree in the middle. If you look down past all the purple and yellow flowers I'm sure you can find a good looking rock...... just an imaginative solve from some guy ☺
You’re right brother. Wish I would have found it. I was planning on it in mid June until I heard it was found. I was wrong where it was. Now that poor guy has that crazy broad suing everyone. Good grief
I’m telling you right now man, you’re gonna shit when I tell you my solve. In fact, if it wasn’t for your channel I probably wouldn’t have gotten this far. I’ve listen to every episode at least 10 times. Then I came up with an amazing solve after my first solve at the fake Forrest Fenn Mt. Rushmore site.
Mikey, I called Fenn yesterday and he got kind a fidgety and nervous when I quickly told him my site. He said” I don’t wanna talk about it after I asked him if he was in some kind of trouble again, meaning the FBI like San Lazaro. Dude, something seems off with all this.
when forest was a kid with his dad he traveled up hwy 287 from TempleTexas heading to yellow stone ... the first park on the way there after leaving Texas after a days drive is pitcher canyon Co. take the dirt RD. for 30 min ar 30 mile per hr. dont go all the was but fallow the canyon down ... dont worry about water in ther creek its been dryed up for ages ... 800 yards before from the parking area is a wooden sign for an outlaw hangout ... that was Henry Newton Brown's hideout.. up the hill ... to the top then look back down the path and you willl see a rock formation that will look like torch look down from what would be its flame... in what looks to be a handle is a hole about head high... with an old tumble weed stuffed in it ... hope this helps....signing out ... secret genius...

We all chose how much time & money to invest. The "community" most refer to is the visible group & group that met up. There were well over 100k searchers. The "community" was a small percentage of that.
agree, people are acting like big babies
Clue one.
I’d say the finder has done a great job
IllinoisGhost 100% you have to take care of you and your family first and he is doing that
An incredible way to create a legacy
Well said...Forrest and the finder doesn't own us a damn thing! And it also felt like someone died to me, and then I learned tonight that searcher, Heather Dawn killed herself, and that hurt more than losing the treasure. God bless you, and God Bless you all and your losses too! Love Dawna
Very sad.
Please don’t tell me she killed herself over the treasure being found? I’ve been friends with her for a couple years
@@treasuresgalore7750 I really don't know but timing may suggest that. Probably had underlying problems for sometime. Very sad.
Good luck in your future endeavors!
Thank you for the truly sincere comment
Thank you Michael for sharing that with us I never got a chance to start the hunt I read the books and was thinking a lot of it so I never got a chance to really have a solve or wouldn't that be great if Forrest Fenn would hide another treasure thank you so much for Forrest Fenn God bless your family and you
Bear Haney it would be awesome but he is gonna he 90, I can’t see him doing it again
@@treasuresgalore7750 and maybe you could hide it for Forest what do you say Michael1
I think treasure would been worth more if forest passes bug he's all alive. the is awesome wish rich ppl would do this
how did they not know this would happen
Hell ya brotha, mad love. He def is watching : )
Everything that has a beginning has an end, this hunt did too. Happy for the finder!! Well deserved.
Take care.
I never used profanity in any of my videos, but I lost control when I read and heard the things I did in the community. I mean this world has gone mad
I guess you did use it for shock effect. Guess my comment was uncalled for, not to have seen any of your previous videos. Stay true to yourself. I would bet you did your community justice with your research and sharing. Accept my apology.
Well said Mike.
Click bait
Thanks for the comment Tim
Yeah but it’s truth
Preach it!😃👏🏻🙌🏻😃👏🏻🙌🏻😃👏🏻🙂
Your the reason it was found. 100% know it was because of what you shared in your videos. Great job bro!
Thanks brother! I hope so
@@treasuresgalore7750 there absolutely no doubt
I hope Forest will at least say what state it was in.
That would be cool.
GoldenAgeDave I agree, any info would be much appreciated. I’m just not getting my hopes up
It was found in New Mexico.
Right on!
Agreeded. As much as I wanna know where it was, I gotta respect Fenn and the finder. I think years from now the finder will come forward. Although a part me of says he’ll probably take his secret to the grave. RIP sir Fenn. Even tho I didn’t partake in the hunt I’m so greatful for what he did
Completely agree!
Thank you for this! It brings me quasi-closure. I feel like a recovering addict 😂. I just need the true home of Brown at this time and I'll be content. Please, please at least give me the actual state ...
WELL SAID!!!
Well said my Chase friend, well said. Peace out, Susie
Susie Fennhaven you are the best!
Well said!
Well said!! Personally, I’m holding onto the hope that the finder, does NOT reveal where Forrest’s special place is at. I want to find it myself, because I feel the knowlege needs to be earned. To make it public, would “pollute” it some how.
How would you know if you found the location? Do you think someone has erected a bronze marker?
For those who must have the answer, here is the SIMPLE, DIRECT one-picture solution: www.dropbox.com/s/u6pbe4edgs96g4j/Using%20the%20Poem%20as%20Map.jpg?dl=0
First you had to find the “right” triangle as shown on the front cover of Too Far to Walk.
The blaze#2 in the poem then points to coordinates 36.6355, -106.2105
The chest was in New Mexico in the Carson National Forest.
It's a crushing loss for a great many but it's the nature of the game...
I think it would be nice to know where warm water halts
Perhaps they could give us that clue
And people wanted to continue the chase
Oh Shuckie, we all want the quarry :P
It was a challenge : ) keep searching your treasure is out there
The hunt and recovery of CS Hunley submarine in Charlestown, SC was a a great treasure hunt, too.
I really Respect your opinion and I agree with your point of view
Amen, brother!
Dude, I know what he means by “Jackson Park was halfway”. You’re gonna feel enlightened when I run down the list at some point here soon. I even figured out the Lincoln Memorial clue, and also what “Teacher With Ropes Means”!!!
Let’s hear it bro!!!!
I really wanna go up to the s location first, though, man. You’re gonna shit when you realise how easy my solve is.
Keep exploring the tall grasses!
I’m with ya! There are always those who feel entitled to something. Well, guess what cupcake this is a treasure hunt. There are no participation trophies!
Was a great adventure!
Only for you the warm water halt is located in 149co. And road 10. North of creede.
Misleading title. Capitalized on telling the name of the finder to get more people to watch this video.
Thank you for your comment. “It was the chase they sought and not the quarry”
You found it!
Always had my spot at top of Sante Fe ski at the lake at the bottom of canyon
Well said I’ll miss ya 😊
I think the poem has been solved but the treasure chest has not been recovered as of yet or will be...due to Covid-19.
Respect bro, u are awesome 👌
Yeah, I’m gonna wait for more details to surface
Milled Steel well we know it’s over. That’s for sure but I am patiently waiting for more details to come out
Thats life right there in a nut shell....
Great video. You tell em!!
I had suspected it was Josh Gates.
Why do you say that
@@treasuresgalore7750 Forrest was a little cryptic when discussing who it was, leading me to believe it was someone that would surprise us.
You’re right brother. Wish I would have found it. I was planning on it in mid June until I heard it was found. I was wrong where it was. Now that poor guy has that crazy broad suing everyone. Good grief
It's not the majority of the community who are acting like children; it's a small percentage of whiners.
Samuel Bell there are a lot of them man.
Too many but it's really a small percentage.
Hey...hey...
The secret's book treasure of 12 only found 2 ya know?
I’ll have to look into it
Dude, I can’t wait to tell you what the different colour teas mean. I figured out quite a bit.
I wanna do a series going over the book and seeing if we could solve this thing together
People these days think that they are entitled to every answer or everything. Relax people. Finn doesnt owe anyone squat.
when forest was a kid with his dad he traveled up hwy 287 from TempleTexas heading to yellow stone ... the first park on the way there after leaving Texas after a days drive is pitcher canyon Co. take the dirt RD. for 30 min ar 30 mile per hr. dont go all the was but fallow the canyon down ... dont worry about water in ther creek its been dryed up for ages ...
