Yes Dustin, this vid. was a real joy. One of the things I like the most is the diversity of bike and setup people use for these rides and the way you bring this to the fore. Thank you again.
Hello Dustin! Again a wonderful video showing your strong determination to complete your winter ride no matter what the weather conditions may be during the day planned for the ride! Thank you so very much Dustin your videos are highly enjoyable and you keep giving us subscribers valuable and amazing portion of inspiration for riding our bikes - because there is not bad weather - right? :-) Wishing you many safe and happy new rides! Best Regards from Sweden!
These are my absolute favourite bike videos on TH-cam , Dustin. Thanks again for the commitment to continue filming, even in the shitty conditions and when you're so over it! Also, am I the only one who geeks out on the mid-ride snack break downs?!
This is hands down the absolute best video you've put out to date. I had to watch it three times to full understand how awesome it is and I may have to watch it again because just how damn fun that ride looked. Keep it up Dustin, you're killing it! 🤘🚲🤙
One of the gnarliest videos yet! Adventure to the Max!! I was a little thrown off with the first tune and the ride then Bongripper ripped in at the right moment. Great video great edit!
Raleigh Roker Comp is carbon with hidden fender mounts and comes with 700x40c Clemente MSO’s with plenty of room to spare. It’s my first gravel bike, so I’m not sure if you could get some 45 or even 50c’s in there, but there is plenty of room front and back. Shop around and it can be had for $1700 new.
Going through your video catalog after recently discovering your work. Hands down the best bike adventure and ride videos out there. Awesome footage, editing and of course the bike tech! Love it!
• Love this vid! • Love the rider interviews! More on-bike-about-yer-bike-interviews plz! • Love the Fogcutter heading into the fog, along with the music change! RAD • I gotta get down there (ain't that far from Seattle) and ride with yer krew!
Hyped! Stoked your feeling it all. Thanks for the suggestions too. There was at least 3 people from seattle that came down for this one. See you here for the next ;)
just found your channel....keep up the great videos. Remember the worst day on a bike is better than the best day at the office. Be safe out there, drivers are NOT doing their jobs.
Awesome! And I will second Shawn on the Norco Search. Virgin ride on my 2018 Norco Search XR Apex 1, carbon frame, 700x40mm tires with fenders. Not the coolest bike in the bunch but got me up Hoffman. Dark Larch awaits!
I've been wearing the recycled-material hoodies and a Cadence baselayer since ... 2008(?) or something. Happy to discover you've got a channel going, STOKED to see this kind of ride featured. We do similar 'rough stuff' here in the UK.
I felt exactly the same way. Over it. 😂 Hoffman broke me then putting back into North Plains at 10 miles an hour because my legs were shot and the headwind was blowing was demoralizing. The funny thing was I didn't bonk either - plenty of food, plenty of water, just not enough fitness 🙃 I make a brief cameo at 2:13 - black Castelli kit, hydration bladder, GT Grade on 650b.
Salsa is coming out w/650 warbird in carbon and it also looks like Kona has a carbon gravel bike coming out that would fit the bill, but i can’t recall the name of it. I saw them both in the plp video from Dirty Kanza expo 2018.
Hey Dustin, good point at the end of your video. I ride a 2018 Trek 920 gravel set up and I wish it came in carbon as well... the one bike I can only think off on top of my head is the Salsa Cutthroat but its not a threaded BB... sure there are thread fit BB's available now to eliminate its issues but not The Perfect bike.
Nice! Thanks for asking em what they ride!! So many different bitchen bikes it really helps me and others see what's out there besides our own little groups. Tires ,wheelset, drivetrains and more! All good bro!
Hey Dustin very cool videos .The gravel videos is where it"s at very cool. I'm up in canada nova scotia and I ride a steel 1980 nishiki with wood chipper bars and a surly 42 x18 single speed setup. Im the only guy in my area that runs drop bar gravel bike setup sucks oh and I run 700c x35c kend small blocks but I might go to a 38 keep up the great vids
2.5 tires? I'd just go with a rigid mtb hardtail. As a 29er it will roll faster too (then a 650b). This years winner of the lost and found was on a 29er MTB for 100 miles. I did the 100 a couple of years ago on my rigid 29er. I was worried that it would be awful compared to a drop bar bike (I am more of a roadie/cx type). To m surprise it was actually better! Anyway, great videos! I like your stuff. Keep them coming!
Ti would make you happier. In all seriousness, the + tires are slow AF. When the hammer gets put down for too long I generally become one of those off the back. Great videos, keep 'em coming.
Mr.DK, your upload was sooooo dope had to watch 2x!!! Loving the bike checks, the killer one-line descriptors fx., full goretex warrior and the best one - deep cuts rambler ;) dude, your boys are seriously next level - did they ride home, too!?!? What about the carbon Ritchey Outback? Or do you want a wicked top tube slant? If all else fails I reckon you can contact your boy @ golden saddle! look forward to more in the future! Best, Rob
Hey. I just found your channel. Really enjoying it. I like that it's fairly normal content but done in a way that has a really nice vibe, and the music is a big part of that. Cycling that is accessible to most. Do you have any advice for sourcing music? It has such a big impact. I currently pay for that epidemic sound but think it's pretty rubbish. Thanks
So what's the score with these logging roads? I assume they aren't all sanctioned (but maybe for these rides they are)? But what's the worst that comes out of riding on a non-sanctioned logging road? Someone says, "How'd you get here? Didn't you see that gate? You gotta leave."
Look for Bombtrack Hook EXT-C Carbon Frame 650B out now new for 2018 German Company from Cologne. They do some good Shit. I just ordered one in Steel becauce the lack of money....
I have a Hook 1 with the steel frame. Fucking rips! I would recommend any Hook model based on how nice mine is. Tough thing is its really hard to find in the USA. I got mine from amazon (insane deal on year old model thats the same as new model but diff wheels). But yeah, supper happy with bombtrack, I had a few questions before I bought it and they responded super quick and seemed like real people. Dude who responded had the email tagline(thing at bottom) of, "Sell your car, ride a bike." Which has been a slogan of mine forever, so yeah, I love the bike the company seems cool... I could go on, but I'm sure you get the point. Cheers
I got the steel frame of this bike because of his later bombtrack build video, and I absolutely love it. The carbon looks nice too, but I couldn't pass up the look of the steel variant
How much does your Ritchey weigh sans all the add-ons? My Diamondback Haanjo Comp Carbon meets your requirements maybe: all carbon, disk brakes, fenders, 3 cages, 700cX45mm, 650bX2.1, 20.8lbs, $2200. BTW, love your gravel ride videos. The vibe is a mix of good times and impending doom or something. Its the music, the fast forward, the ... I donno. Can't put my finger on it.
Ask the guy in the red jersey at 1:01 about the DB Haanjo Comp Carbon. He's got one like mine. I'd be interested in hearing how it performed on that ride.
Exactly! They are the only way to roll if you need Rx lens. I personally think they would ideal for anyone wearing glasses Rx or normal. Transitions are SUPER functional!
Yes Dustin, this vid. was a real joy. One of the things I like the most is the diversity of bike and setup people use for these rides and the way you bring this to the fore. Thank you again.
Thank you for watching and the positive words!
Honestly, some of these wet miserable-weather ride videos are some of my favorite on TH-cam. Looking forward to everyone.
Much respect my dude!!
Man, I watched this one countless times now. Brings such a great winter/autumn atmosphere along with the music. Thanks so much for your work Dustin!
Winter is right around the corner again...yikes!
Hello Dustin! Again a wonderful video showing your strong determination to complete your winter ride no matter what the weather conditions may be during the day planned for the ride! Chrl Mlln 🙌🙌🙌🙌 you rule!!
Check out Rodeo-labs.com. Their Trail Donkey is legit. Homegrown in Denver, tho built overseas.
These are my absolute favourite bike videos on TH-cam , Dustin. Thanks again for the commitment to continue filming, even in the shitty conditions and when you're so over it! Also, am I the only one who geeks out on the mid-ride snack break downs?!

Best Comment of all time right here!!!!
One of the gnarliest videos yet! Adventure to the Max!! I was a little thrown off with the first tune and the ride then Bongripper ripped in at the right moment. Great video great edit!
That looked intense and I love the musical change for the 2nd half.
This looks like so much fun! This video made me do some research into rides like this around my area. hopefully I can join one soon! Great vid Dustin!
Man, I like those epic snowy/rainy hard rides. Looking it again...!
Raleigh Roker Comp is carbon with hidden fender mounts and comes with 700x40c Clemente MSO’s with plenty of room to spare. Love all the bongripper you put in these!
The best band!!!
Going through your video catalog after recently discovering your work. Hands down the best bike adventure and ride videos out there. Awesome footage, editing and of course the bike tech! Love it!
AAARRRGGHHH Matey....them trails are for the gnar at heart!!!! Awesome ride and content.
The oldies just seemed to breeze through it all...!
Super sick footage!! And what beautiful country to bike ....I'm coming sooooooon;-)
Loving these Dustin Klein Vids !
Much apprecaited!
• Love this vid!

Yes, the next one! When's that? I better get outta the paint booth and onto the saddle! Thanks, Adam
Wow what a ride!!! Norco makes the Search XR carbon. It can do 700 x 45c and 650b x 2.1 with fender and bottle mounts
just found your channel....keep up the great videos. Remember the worst day on a bike is better than the best day at the office. Be safe out there, drivers are NOT doing their jobs.

Just found your videos and can’t stop riding. Incredible rides and awesome bike set ups.

True player right here!!
I felt exactly the same way. Over it. 😂 Hoffman broke me then putting back into North Plains at 10 miles an hour because my legs were shot and the headwind was blowing was demoralizing. This terrain is very much like northern England I’m inspired thank you 😊
Terrain. And rain.
Ok I found the superhero music it’s now on my Pandora. I can only do small rides but I’m wanting to get wild and crazy like you man. Big respect
nice landscapes! forest, mountains, fog and friends! cool)
Dustin, you are a very inspiring dude!
-Fellow artist and rider who needs to do more gravel
Awesome video, once again. I'd love to ride these trails!
Love your videos keep them flowing
Great looking ride. Glad I watched it on the TV. Keep it up!
Great vid, thanks! Inspirational. Music was perfect!
Salsa is coming out w/650 warbird in carbon and it also looks like Kona has a carbon gravel bike coming out that would fit the bill, but i can’t recall the name of it. I saw them both in the plp video from Dirty Kanza expo 2018.
I look forward to your videos the most of the hundred+ subs. Because their the BEST!
Check out the Lauf true grit or the OPEN U.P. you wont get fender mounts but, you can get fenders that attach to them if you are dead set on fenders.
Mason Bokeh, aluminium frame + carbon fork is 2.3kg, bolt waiting for fenders, and 650B or 700. Cool Video!
Great videos, man! Keep up the good work... Super inspirational. Hoping to join you guys later this year once I step up my game a bit.
Looking forward to having you!
Rondo cf and kinesis tripster. Also, the New kona rove nrb looks compelling, but I think it lacks the tire clearance of the other two.
Nice! Thanks for asking em what they ride!! So many different bitchen bikes it really helps me and others see what's out there besides our own little groups. Tires ,wheelset, drivetrains and more! All good bro!
Will do more of these too. I agree its cool to see what all the different bikes are that people shred out there.
wish the open Open U.P. had room for fenders. fits a 650x2.1
theres also Norco Search XR that might be something to look into
so dang pumped to ride in the rain and get cold and wet after watching this!
Look up Rondo Ruut CF. It will fit about 27.5x2.0 tires, but should meet the other requirements.
Nice video, good music to get on speed.big up from France guys!
Hey Dustin very cool videos .The gravel videos is where it"s at very cool. I'm up in canada nova scotia and I ride a steel 1980 nishiki with wood chipper bars and a surly 42 x18 single speed setup. I bet the terrain up there is unreal! I want to visit. Thanks for the words of support!
Bongripper was a perfect music choice!
Loving these gravel videos.
Loving the bongripper chug along song!!!!!
You can try a Bombtrack Hook Ext-C. It's exactly what you looking for. Cheers, Clem
3T exploro maybe? doubt the fenders tho, keep up the good work! love your vids! greetz from Belgium!
Looks like an awesome route. The bike you described sounds awesome. I wonder if Panorama Cycles in Canada might be into making something like that.
Beautiful.
Also... plus 70miles!? Inspirational, dude.
Respect!
Rad, as always. Bongripper - hell yeah... 🖤🗡🦅👊🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
That was epic....Dude way to go...great footage...awesome job...thanks
Maybe Rondo ruut cf1? It doesn't have dedicated fenders fixing, but you can buy some with alternative way of fixing such as some SKS products.
5 years on. Does that bike exist yet? I don't know of any that'll take a 2.5 x 650b But maybe it's out there somewhere? 🤔
Looks like normal Roads in the U.K.
Ha, ha you know it... 👍
Music is on point! Digging this channel. 👍🏾
Player!
Gnarly ride homie! Awesome video!
Beautiful video
2.5 tires? I'd just go with a rigid mtb hardtail. As a 29er it will roll faster too (then a 650b). This years winner of the lost and found was on a 29er MTB for 100 miles. Ibis Hakka mx I think has all the requirements - just double check on fenders
Love this roads, very smooth.
In spain, the roads it's more heavy 🤘
Your vids are awesome man!
Thanks player!
Ti would make you happier. In all seriousness, the + tires are slow AF. When the hammer gets put down for too long I generally become one of those off the back. Great videos, keep 'em coming.

Look into Open. Their bicycles are gnar
Looks weird with all those fenders but keeps your bike and back side cleaner !
Ride looked brutal
I was zorched thats for sure.
such a great ride and god damn great gang! could you pls share this route?
THe route is on the OMTM.cc site. THere is a link in the description.
Wow, love this vid! And this music!! What is it?, must have this....
In the description! Stoked you liked it
Great Video, inspired to go out for a ride! Thanks!!!
Huh,just rewatched and noticed a wood framed Renovo bike. Good way to spend 10grand.
Just found your channel and it is dope!
Salsa cutthroat! The best bike ive owned!
no fender mounts
Oooooooo burn. But im sure Zachary's mom is a nice lady.
Awesome ride ... and them 2 who did an extra 70 odd miles wow are you nuts lol .. totally Awesome
Hey. I just found your channel. Really enjoying it. I like that it's fairly normal content but done in a way that has a really nice vibe, and the music is a big part of that. ВЕЛОСИПЕД ПРОСТО "ВЕЛИКОЛЕПЕН"!!!👍👍👍🚴🚵🚴
Ti :-) custom ti my friend. Forgiving comfortable bullet proof and light.
EPIC Ride.
I’ll be climbing to bongripper soon based on this! 🚵🏼♂️
Rodeo Labs Trail Donkey!!!!, I think it goes only up to 47mm on 650b?
gnarly points for guy at 2:20 for using downtube shifters?!
The real gnarly points should all go to the few dudes who did this ride singlespeed...
Bombtrack Hook EXT is carbon for 2018
Where’s fergulicious on these runs? Dude your freakin crew cranks it out man. The hardcore superhero theme music has me all jacked. Lol great job
Diamondback haanjo carbon. Fits slick 2.2 650b. Nothing I know of can do 2.5s maybe the open up..?
So what's the score with these logging roads? I assume they aren't all sanctioned (but maybe for these rides they are)? But what's the worst that comes out of riding on a non-sanctioned logging road? Someone says, "How'd you get here? Didn't you see that gate? You gotta leave."
So did the $7000 carbon bike do any better then the $30 mountain bike?
BOMBTRACK HOOK EXT-C . A carbon fun machine is coming this year.
I don't understand why there are 4 unlikes...? My boy Tony seems camera shy! Ha ha 5:50 Keep'em coming DK.
rollinsjenni Neither do I, how does anyone not like this? Absolutely rad!
Too much hipster.
To each their own, my friend. Too bad your opinions of others don't allow you to enjoy riding at it's finest!
It's all good, I ain't hating. I love riding on dirt and gravel. The video production is not quite my style though.
Any recommendations as to what types of vids you do enjoy?
Dustin, you have the Haanjo EXP Carbon
Chinese carbon bike - think it’s called carbona. Amey on pedalroom has one. He’s been thrashing it for two years and no worries.
What bongripper song is that?
This may be off topic but in some of your vids you're eating burritos. What do you put in yours?
Great job dude!!
Look for Bombtrack Hook EXT-C Carbon Frame 650B out now new for 2018 German Company from Cologne. They do some good Shit. I just ordered one in Steel becauce the lack of money....
This is the exact bike I was going to suggest. It seems perfect.
I was thinking the Hook too. Such a drop dead stone cold epic ride slayer.
So far the EXT-C is the frame I like the most.
I have a Hook 1 with the steel frame. Fucking rips! I would recommend any Hook model based on how nice mine is. Tough thing is its really hard to find in the USA. I got mine from amazon (insane deal on year old model thats the same as new model but diff wheels). I got the steel frame of this bike because of his later bombtrack build video, and I absolutely love it. The carbon looks nice too, but I couldn't pass up the look of the steel variant
Titanium or custom steel. Carbon fork should keep it around the 5lb mark
How much does your Ritchey weigh sans all the add-ons? My Diamondback Haanjo Comp Carbon meets your requirements maybe: all carbon, disk brakes, fenders, 3 cages, 700cX45mm, 650bX2.1, 20.8lbs, $2200. Dustin, are they transition lenses in your Oakley? How do they work? thanx
Exactly! They are the only way to roll if you need Rx lens. I personally think they would ideal for anyone wearing glasses Rx or normal. Transitions are SUPER functional!
thanx for your time !
fucking awesome brother
