Was in donghe during typhoon haikui last year, witnessing more than half of the trees being uprooted. Explains the relatively mild wind damage this time.

Yea these trees were tough. Winds were very strong at times

@StasisChasing All trees that weren't capable of holding up during the winds were uprooted by haikui. Damage was castrophic last year during cat 3 haikui, which I rode out in a convenient store that had its glass door scattered and squares of its roof downed. Haikui was a tough storm as its strength was all packed in a minor radius

In recent years, the weather has been really unpleasant. Not only countries in Europe, America, and Asia are also suffering from severe natural disasters.

Stas, I don't know how to say it gently but it's sickening seeing you happy and having fun under the super typhoon Kong Rey wrath.....when the same storm went our way in the Philippines, killed dozens of people and left millions under water and homeless, domestic and farm animals drowned, harvests gone....be mindful of other people's plight and care a little. God bless you.

You don't fly across to be depressed, you come in to do your tasked mission and he did his documenting not directly at the inconvenience of another.

Be reminded that climate change cannot do it alone if its man made or own by nature. There was a powerful behind this massive flood and strong winds coming from the heavens

i get where youre coming from but this is seriously a very defeatist victim blaming mindset
i too am Pinoy but you also shouldn't be dogging people on "farming" for sympathy. If we were to put your logic into other circumstance, anyone can also say that it's "sickening seeing you happy and having fun" while we see others suffer under the threat of *insert any unfortunate event in the world right now*
"How dare i see you happy when i see children in Gaza suffering!" Which is a big deal obviously, but there is a right time and place to be discussing this and this ain't it
Lastly, he wasn't even being belligerent nor was he belittling the ones who suffered. Come on man

Study Natural Hazards here in Fiji islands Geography forms 5 6 and 7 case study Monsoon Asia since 1993 1994 1995 and taught it again in 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 decades ago when teaching Geography in high schools forms 5 6 and 7
One thing meself see by watching all the channels from Monsoon Asian region countries is that it is normal thing the Typhoons from April to November annually
Just like us here in the South Pacific Region countries from November to April
Like with Geography subject one understands God better when God created the heavens and the Earth and everything in it
So the typhoons aka cyclones hurricanes it is Gods creativity sometimes bigger sometimes smaller at times doesn't go to some countries
Yep it is the way God created the heavens and the earth and the only ACADEMIC SUBJECT THAT IS BIBLICAL FROM GOD THAT TALKS ABOUT IT ALL SIMPLY IS GEOGRAPHY
    so again thanks
it is just Gods creativity with a combinations of human Geography it somehow ascertain the frequency
