    Only thing missing was anything about Teddy's first wife; Karen. She was one of his dancers and married him after the accident. They were together for a long time and she went through a LOT with him due to his post-accident depression, medical issues, and drug addiction. She also took care of his mother after his death; which strangely his second wife did not do. I saw an interview with her on here and she seemed nice and very down-to-earth. Not at all flashy or interested in that celeb lifestyle. She's a dance teacher and only did an interview as a favor to one of her students. No sleezy Teddy tell-all.

    • @DemEffectz
      @DemEffectz 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      @MrDamonte Just to be clear.. The very beautiful and talented Karen Pendergrass (a very close family friend) did not start Philadanco, that would have been the legendary Aunt Joan Meyers Brown. My 2nd Cousin/God Mother Denise (Nece) Carrington-Lewis and Karen both were two of the very first students to attend the school and later teach. Both Aunt Joan & Karen P. are still very close to my family at large. I've spent many years attending Philadanco's dance recitals during the 70s & 80s at University of Penns, Annenberg Center, also my mother was one of Teddy's in house wound care nurses after his 2nd accident when he lived out in the Philly burbs of Penn Valley, Montco. when the kids were pre teens and I teenager. Lincoln Drive in Northwest Philly runs through historic East Falls, Germantown and West Mt. Airy where Teddy Pendergrass also lived on West Allens Lane, which is still a drivers dream, especially when it's not rush hour. The curves can be dangerous, and people still crash often even though they've made modifications. The first accident happened at Lincoln Drive & Rittenhouse Street

    As a man of faith in my lord & saviour Jesus The Christ. I see his life spiritually and I hope in the end of his life he gave his life back to God. I see comments of people saying how Teddy helped them to make babies. Music that makes people engage in sinful acta of fornication & adultery. Teddy knew the Lord through his mother, so hopefully before dying he returned to his spiritual roots. Teddy was awesome in the secular world of ungodliness, but he could've been so much greater singing for God. God wants our talents to praise him. We are his creation and those who get saved are his children.

From Elvis to Michael Jackson, I was always cognizant of the fact that their life, their fame & fortune is something I could never even begin to comprehend, so I stick to what I can appreciate, their gift of beautiful music, which never dies.
