AIC is an interesting band, they started as a pop-metal, then got into more sleaze-metal territory (almost similar to Guns N' Roses), then had some stoner-doom stuff, then finished as prog metal. (and it all got labeled as 'grunge' lol)
@@-jank-willson Facelift even got some funk metal/rock tunes (I Know Somethin' Bout You, Real Thing, Put You Down). Also, their self-titled is almost sludge metal at some parts.
Absolutely nailed the genre! Dude your Type O Negative stuff is amazing, ZZ Top covers are on repeat here at home, and now this? You seriously need to expand this genre with more covers or originals. Please please please keep doing what you're doing. Extremely underrated music maker, its criminal you don't have more subscribers.
Finally a way to listen to the Beatles and enjoy it! Man oh man the fuzz level on the bass is SICK! Love the slow delay flanger on the vocals especially with the harmony. Stoner doom metal is so underrated. You freakin NAILED it! Also feel a slight touch of Corrosion of Conformity feel. Yup. Playlist add.
TH-cam served you up yesterday, and I've gone through a large percentage of your back catalog now. I'm blown away, you've earned my sub 100 times over. Looking forward to more. The quality of these covers is really top notch.
I must say that even though I am very much not a fan of the genre, the whole thing is extremely well crafted. In another universe where The Beatles didn't write this, this could totally be the original version of Come Together.
Absolutely Nailed It Again! Perfection! Hairs on my back even stood at attention for this! Fn' Insane Harmonies! I owe You a year-for every Day You've just Made My Day! Heavier than touchdown at Heathrow!!
This is a really cool transformation (cover isn't a strong enough word) of the original. I don't know if respectful is the right word but I'm going to use it anyway.... Your version of this has a respectfulness of the the feel and intent of the original while hitting all the points in a new way. It works so well for me. Thanks for posting this. Good job.
IDK why bro, but this one sounds like if AiC was a Stoner Doom metal band doing a cover of Come Together..../shrug Which, honestly is some kind of impressive! Either way it's tasty \m/
At first it reminded me of when Type O did their Beatles medley on World Coming Down. But then it quickly became your own thing. You really nail your arrangements, guitar/bass tones. That Leslie effect on the vocals was a nice touch.
Doom metal, you say... I've never had any, but it has a delicious, dark flavor. I think I'll try another helping before the sky falls, and everything crashes to an end. This was a very innovative interpretation of Come Together. It had great bones, and deep, soul-crushing bass melody. The vocals were absolutely haunting. I'm always amazed when someone does this. It never gets old. You have to have incredible musical talent to totally reinventold music in such unexpected ways. The whole thing was simultaneously satisfying and disturbing. Do it again.
Bravo! 🔥This piece is so instinctual. As an artist, a fine art painter in genres that span realism to non representational abstract, the battle inside of me for creativeness is always between instinct and intellectualization. Intellectualizing is the kryptonite of instinct. Your instinct is winning.
Hey man, this cover is the best Beatles cover I ever heard. I’ve been listening to this song two days in a row, can’t get enough. Is it possible to put it on Spotify? Thanks Denis, keep up a good job)
Excelente!! versión ultra poderosa!! llena de energia y con riff que te llega al lugar mas oculto de tu cerebro....felicitaciones!! creo que hasta Lennon se estremecería de felicidad!!
reminds me of Type O Negative's Beatles medley. great work, love all the tones, especially that grinding bass. Come Together is practically Stoner Doom already, so it's a natural choice.
Really top notch. Not directly tying it to a specific band lets you have more freedom. I enjoy all of it. Okokok now do “She’s So Heavy”. The Beatles did much of the work already.
I'm in love with this sound. ❤❤ When I was a much younger man. The prog-metal band I ran with, did a heavy version of "Within you without you" I've loved Beatles covers since then. This brings back such great memories
I can totally envision you and Pepper Jamming this together with Kirk from Crowbar just sitting there with a coors light in his hand saying "fuck yeah brother"
The song was fit for this version from its inception. That tritone riff is so heavy. Btw if you listen carefully, the first heavy riff ever is in Helter Skelter
This was absolutely incredible, and honestly probably the best Beatles cover I've ever heard. I'm not a fan of the band, but I love a lot of the metal covers of them as bands often turn them into their own, but you took it to a whole new level! I hear some Load-era Metallica, AiC, and COC in there, all mixed into your unique sound, and the ending it with letting the feedback buzz, perfect! If you don't mind me asking, what pedal/amp are you using on the bass in the beginning? I'm a bassist myself, and I love that crispy distortion and playing around with different pedals, almost sounds like a tremolo.
This reminded me that I got into sludge with Crowbar's debut album... and that a buddy of mine lost the CD many many years ago. T_T Which in turn reminds me that Waiting in Silence in the style of TON would be pretty cool.
I agree with the AiC comparisons, who actually had a lot of stoner doom influence. You can hear AiC in the main riff, some vocal harmony, and especially the guitar solo (which was spot on).

You do great work. Now you've got me wondering how "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" would sound in the same style.
❤😮🎉 this good shit man keep it going Waw Yeah😂 Alice in chains pure😮😅
I fell asleep at a festival while Sleep was playing. I woke up an hour later and they were just finishing the intro to their first song
😂
SOLID GOLD, Sir.
If you fell ASLEEP when SLEEP was playing, I hope a similar thing doesn't happen if you hear DEATH...

My mom is a lifelong Beatles fan at 75 years old and she loves this version of a classic song (shes also been into Sabbath since 1971, that helps).
How cool is that?! Thank you so much! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Me too. Would love to make some one day.
Me too, didn't know it was called that.
@@georgelogreco8810The Sword did a cover of The Darkside of The Moon doom style. It's great. They are a primarily a stoner metal band. Check em out!
come together was the perfect song to do this with.
Check out Trouble's version too.
Thank you! 🤘🏻
Try doom metal glass onion I'll be impressed
Denis Pauna has brought us together
Type O Negative described themselves as "Beatles meets Black Sabbath" or otherwise as the "Drab Four."
*DAY TRIPPER*
That is STUPIDLY heavy! I was not aware of how much I needed to hear this today 🤘
I just got back from seeing Alestorm and this was perfect to sit and chill to, hope it ends up on spotify
Huge thanks! It will be on Spotify asap!
You deserve like 10x the subscribers you have... Seriously great work as always.
Thank you so much!
One of my favorite Beatles songs, redone in one of my favorite subgenres. Yes. Thank you.
This version actually blows away _ALL_ previous versions.
Mind blowing! It's almost like Crowbar VS AIC and the Beatles. ❤
Yes!!!! I definitely heard AIC as well.

With some Down and Corrosion Of Conformity added for good measure.

AIC

I could definitely hear a little "Sludge Factory" vibes too.
This is how I heard and listened this song in my childhood at 6 years old.
If the word Heavy had no definition yet, this cover would be the perfect definition. You nailed it 🤘
That was 10/10 outstanding! Enjoyed every second of this one. I hope this won't be your last journey into stoner/doom metal!
Hear! Hear!
A version of this song that I didn’t know I needed!
GODDAMN that was heavy. So sick, definitely one of my favorite versions of this song now. 🤘🏽
The Beatles final boss theme on the most difficult mode
Epic right off the bat. Hell yeah on those vocals, too!

has a strong Type-O feel. Nice Job.
If this sounds like type O he totally screwed up. It does not. It sounds like southern stoner metal.
Yup. Its like New orleans sludge scene (DOWN, CROWBAR..) had a child with sleep and AIC and its fuckin great
No it sounds like AIC
I must say that even though I am very much not a fan of the genre, the whole thing is extremely well crafted. In another universe where The Beatles didn't write this, this could totally be the original version of Come Together.
I bow down before the majesty that this version of the classic song shows....
This is absolutely the best cover of this song anywhere, hands down.
