Back in the mid 70's, my mother was hitchhiking with her best friend. A man in a car picked them up and had them both sit in the back seat. After traveling about a mile down the road, he pulled out a very large knife and turned around briefly, holding it up towards his face. He said to them in a monotonous voice, "I'm gonna cut you." They sat there frozen in fear, not showing any emotion. They did, however, do something that ended up saving their lives. They held each other's hands tightly. The man saw this through the rear view mirror, and, disgusted, he pulled over and angrily said, "get the hell out, dykes." He either had second thoughts, was displeased by their lack of emotion, or truly did not want to mess with two young women he assumed were lovers.
They called the police right away. It was not long after the man was caught. He was the suspect in a double murder that had occured the evening before - a man and his young son who had been relaxing on a beach together. This occurred in Texas, but I am not sure whereabouts. My mother passed away a few years ago so I cannot ask her.

I can confirm that he wants to try mushrooms now, but hasn't done them. He has epilepsy for partial seizures and often gets sleep paralysis and hallucinations when he doesn't take his meds. But he really, really wants to try mushrooms but can never get them. Oh and although Chills tells you the story happened to me, it didn't. It happened to a friend of mine, I just narrated it on my channel.

A lot of people will commit crimes on or around halloween because masks aren't out of the ordinary and because many people leave their homes. The sleep paralysis thing though, I suffer from that a lot as a result of my Narcolepsy and can attend to how terrifying it can be.
