Great video, and I hate to criticize your bringing of a cool idea to YT, but you neglected to show or say in the video that you added a LOT of very necessary drainage holes to the tray. Also, that pump was set too shallowly in the lower bucket reservoir. It could have gone inside that small, inner bucket with another hole drilled to get it deeper (perhaps sitting on a piece of brick) and you wouldn’t have had to cut the riser pipe. If someone follows the video to the letter, they are going to burn out their pump by running it dry too quickly. Nice result but skipped steps for success.
He wrote, in a response to someone else, that he later removed all the rocks and drilled "a dozen" holes through the saucer so the water could recirculate.
I like this fountain. You can put Willow sprigs, spider plant, heart shaped philadendrums, geraniums... any plant that will take root in water without a 'root start' chemical, especially around the beautiful lil' I hafta' to touch it, splash it, or taste it- ones. 👩🏼🦲Precious!
If I had the quality of flower pots just laying around, the $50 speak bait would not have mattered. Who has $200 plus worth of flower pots just laying around?
thats an awsome creation heres another idea that i feel would perfect with that fountain i used a watering can added fairy lights and threaded them through the shower head to make it look like its pouring light up water no water involved it wont let me post a pic sorry
Did you noy drill holes in the saucer to circulate the water. When you said you had one more thing to do I thought that was what it was. But just wondering. If you ever did
Love it. I’d like to do similar project using the solar fountain pump fir edge of my yard where there is no power. Could you possibly do a project like that
Hi thanks for the support!! I had to remove all the Stone once we turned it on and realized no water filtering back so I drilled about a dozen holes in the pot through the saucer so water could recycle.
Thank you! Those are plastic pots. The pump was purchased at home depot for $25 it's a 130 gallons per hour. The bag of rocks also at home depot they were $10. The water was free lol. Always Entertaining!
Big Like for the adorable little helper 👶👍👍👍

Exactly what I was thinking!
I couldn't figure out how it didn't run dry...nothing going back into the bottom pot...
How is the water being recycled. I didn’t see you put any holes in saucer.

This is amazing! Best modern DIY fountain I seen on TH-cam!
How does the water drain back down to the water? It needs holes in the saucer doesn’t it?
Gonna try this. Thank you for sharing.
Hello.
Thank you for this video.
Do you think if it's heavy enought for rain storm ?
Hi yes I live in Central Florida, many occasions we have heavy rains and wind. Thanks for your support!!
Very nice 👍
How does the water get back to the pump? You didn’t drill any drain holes?
You didn't put holes in the saucer for water to return to pot..
Love it. I’d like to do similar project using the solar fountain pump fir edge of my yard where there is no power. Could you possibly do a project like that
Drain holes in saucer!
Stools with padding Will be great video
Just one question, why didn't you put the pump on the bottom of the larger pot. It would allow more water coverage and the pump. Just curious 🤔
Good job bro
What a wonderfull fountain. I have a cuestion where did you get the pump?
Thank you got the pump at Lowes.
How does water make it back to the bottom? Just through gaps in the center holes?
Love it!
I know it’s been 3 years but do you remember the name of the pump and do I buy the hose separately? Thanks!
Great video gonna go try it out
Have fun!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Don't you need holes in the plastic tops??
Have you ever done a table top fire pit? If you have let me know if not can you think how it could be done ?! Thank you 🙏
Did the succulents take?
Also could benchs for patio from pallets
😢 its probably $100 or more now😢
Where are the pots from? Could you pls link it
How does the water get back down to the bottom reservoir, through the tiny hole the pipe goes through?
I was wondering that myself. Other than that.....I loved it.
Hi thanks for the support!! I had to remove all the Stone once we turned it on and realized no water filtering back so I drilled about a dozen holes in the pot through the saucer so water could recycle.
How many holes do you put in the tray so water goes back into the big pot so it resicals 😂

We are good channel update we passed! Thank you
I couldn't find a saucer for my 20" pot that didn't cost 30-50$
So I had to fill the whole thing with rocks. Ugh.
Plastic ? old pie plate might work , I always look at thrift shops first
@@joanross3380 thrift shops were closed at that time because we were in lockdiwn. And there's no such thing as a 20" pie plate lol
Great fountain but the music was awful. I felt agitated. I had to turn off the sound.
Ok thanks for the feedback 👍
Old tires make greats outdoors decor
Recycle the water? No holes in saucer...burn that pump out.
