Great video, and I hate to criticize your bringing of a cool idea to YT, but you neglected to show or say in the video that you added a LOT of very necessary drainage holes to the tray. Also, that pump was set too shallowly in the lower bucket reservoir. It could have gone inside that small, inner bucket with another hole drilled to get it deeper (perhaps sitting on a piece of brick) and you wouldn’t have had to cut the riser pipe. If someone follows the video to the letter, they are going to burn out their pump by running it dry too quickly. Nice result but skipped steps for success.

How is the water being recycled. I didn’t see you put any holes in saucer.

He wrote, in a response to someone else, that he later removed all the rocks and drilled "a dozen" holes through the saucer so the water could recirculate.

Lovely fountain but where are the drain holes between the bottom pot and the top one for the water to cycle through?

I like this fountain. You can put Willow sprigs, spider plant, heart shaped philadendrums, geraniums... any plant that will take root in water without a 'root start' chemical, especially around the beautiful lil' I hafta' to touch it, splash it, or taste it- ones. 👩🏼‍🦲Precious!

If I had the quality of flower pots just laying around, the $50 speak bait would not have mattered. Who has $200 plus worth of flower pots just laying around?
