- I recently found an old water trough that would have been in a nearby town, and I instantly had the vision of turning it into a water fountain! I've finally made this dream come true, and I'm showing you the process of how I did it. I hope that it inspires you if you, too, have been wanting a fountain in your own yard! Enjoy!

From my farm to your home. 🏡
My name is Kaleb Wyse and here, you will find delicious recipes, videos from my farm, garden, and fun home projects. My knowledge has been earned from years of home cooks and farmers in my family. wyseguide.com
A farm is much more than a house to live in; it’s a lifestyle. My passion for gardening and landscaping came from outdoor work with my mom in our expansive farm yard, my love for baking came from innumerable short walks to my grandma’s house to make cookies, and as a farmer, my dad taught me that we are the stewards of our land.
So whether you live in a city center or have decided rural life is for you, I hope to inspire you with the projects and recipes I use in daily life. We can’t all live on a farm, but we all need farms in our lives. From the dirt in my vegetable garden to the flour in my kitchen, I’ll show you everything I love to do. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

Oh my stars, I'm in love with that cast iron trough! 😍 So classy already and when those copper pipes patina.... A whole nother level of gorgeousness will emerge 🥰🤗
Kaleb, I love how you made that cast-iron horse water trough into a fountain. The sound of running water in the landscape is like a magnet for wildlife and other creatures (including humans), and it sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with us.
So funny, I've been watching him for years and never knew his name was Caleb 😂
@@boxwoodlaneflowers2972It should be spelled Kaleb😊
@@agmin2098 You are absolutely right, it is Kaleb, sorry for the misspelling.🤭 I changed it.
@@greenthumbelina7331 👍🏼☺️
The birdies will love this fountain! Great job 👏🏼
I have a plan that when I get around to actually working with copper water lines, that I would practice soldering by making fountain parts. This is a great tutorial on the form and a great way to not need to bust out the torch!
Some water lettuce and/or water hyacinth would look so beautiful in your new fountain😁
Turned out beautiful, love the contrast between the black trough & copper tubing! Just so pretty.
You are a fantastic teacher. Absolutely beautiful foundation 💞💞💞
This is a great idea. I love how you took so many ideas and made them your own, and the fact that its reasonably priced.
Kip is so sweet and so chill.
Awesome!! My husband made a bubbler for me out of a gigantic ceramic pot a few years ago. I love it and the birds do too! Yours is gorgeous just as it is.💚
😮Woah, that size trough is easily a couple thousand dollars, if not 3 thousand. It's great Kaleb, just beautiful! Tfs🙂
I love how hydrated the grass and all the plants look.
I've had a dozen fountains and ponds. I have never heard of the cord stopper. Wow! Your fountain is beautiful!
Love your water feature, I admire your diy skills.😊
I don't see myself crafting a fountain, but if one needed one, this is a great tutorial! I'm sure it will help many people be inspired to create their own version or solve their own fountain problem. Enjoyed this craftiness. More and more please!
Love it!!! The sound is perfect. The birds will enjoy it too 💜🥰
You find the most fabulous vintage pieces! i love what you did with this one.
So nice! I feel like you can build anything! 👏👏👏
Very nice and well explained especially that copper pipe glue very helpful for people who don’t do soldering
❤️❤️❤️
Everything is very beautiful. I thought the fountain turned out great. I love the horse trough festival. I’ve never seen something so beautiful and a great shape.
I love, love love the fountain! It looks great, Caleb!
So clever! And it looks easy with that copper adhesive. I think I might give this a try. Thanks!
What a great idea!! 👏👏👏 thanks for sharing so helpful to see how you created that fountain. Loved seeing Kip enjoying the grass ❤
I love you new fountain it looks beautiful. I also have a fountain and I love hearing to water bubbles. Love you show too
What a beautiful trough! Good job.
Looks absolutely great! Thanks for sharing with us.
Great job Kaleb 😊
That’s so well done Caleb you are so good ❤️😊
Once again, zoom out an d get a pic of the fountain in the beautiful landscape plz!
Yeah I could never put that together! Looks great! Always nice to see Kip!
...I LOVE this! It looks AWESOME, and the simplicity of the copper piping fits the antiquity of the trough. Seeing this out a window, or just walking by would be sooo fulfilling! 🤗🙌🫶 I have a stock tank with a pump and waterbell which in itself gives me an ample sound of water in my garden. It's a must. 🙏👌
👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=

Gorgeous Kaleb 😍
❤ What a fantastic and clever idea repurposing an item for a new use. Some water plants would be a great finishing touch. ❤
Love every thing about this! Maybe some pond dye so that the bottom pipe/pump can me hidden?
I’ve been waiting since Christmas to see what you were going to do-and oh my-I absolutely love it. The copper is the perfect fit and it’s going to be even nicer when it ages and the patina takes over.
Such an attractive fountain!
Hey, an additional plus with using copper pipe is it should act as a natural microbial in the water. My brother has a copper pipe laying in the watering trough for his livestock and mold does not grow!
This is a great look and idea for a fountain . Very creative! ❤😊❤
Oh. I love this idea!
Great video!
This is a great idea. I love all of idea how you made it.look really amazing. And Kip is always awesome 👌 thanks again for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤
Up for some great great projects thanks so much for sharing this one
Looks great!!!! Good job!!!
I love this fountain! Learned so much ❤❤❤
A simple design but not easy to put together. Definately takes thinking, patience and perseverance. Your fountain works perfectly and I like it's location and all three bubblers in the center instead of just one. Rewarding, as the water fountain is your very own creation. Had a pond I worked on myself and liked the location in my former garden but unfortunately too many critters wanted to dive in!
So awesome love it you are so creative! Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous fountain!
Very cool and clever!

Thank you for the water fountain tutorial, it was just perfect and I love the trough
Awesome job plus love the outfit!
This is perfect!
Well done
Beautiful work. What a wonderful addition to the garden.
Kaleb, will you provide measurements and a list of copper tubing sizes please. I’m going to give this a shot with my trough. Thank you 🤞
If you follow the first link in the description, it will give you a list of the copper tubing I used. As for measurements, I would suggest customizing it to fit your trough dimensions. I tried to give equal spacing between the bubblers and the edge of the trough. If you use three bubblers, divide the length of your trough by four. That will give you the spacing needed between the bubblers, while also appearing symmetrical in the basin. Hope this helps! ⛲
That is very cool
Love it!!
Really nice
Love this
Perfect 👍👍
Thanks I love it 😍
I love it!

Looks perfect as is!
Looks AMAZING!!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great job, it looks fantastic.
You'll have to put some kind of perch so the birds can drink from it.. also the bees will drown if they don't have a way out. We need our bees 🐝
Wow! I love this! Any tips on where/how to source a trough like that or something similar?
Beautiful 💧
Gorgeous
Very nice to listen to.
You are so creative ❤
Looks great, just add some beta to pond to help control mosquitoes and a couple water plants. The mosquitoes larva should keep them fed but the algae on the plants will also help feed them. Maybe 2 or 3 for that size pond would be great. Mixing those bright colors would add to beauty of pond
Mosquitoes don't lay eggs in moving water like this. Although I agree with fish and plants. Even above ground plants that root well in water. Pothos, basil, mint, mini bamboo, etc.
You can’t put more than one beta fish in they are fighting fish and will kill each other you can however put them with other fish
You can put a few together as long as they all have enough space to establish territory. They aren't fighting fish. They are just territorial. They need space.
@dianespring3228 I have 4 beta in one tank and I've never had any problems
@@marktitus8516 that’s amazing every fish store has told me I can’t put more than one good to know thank you ☺️
You are so smart
That is so beautiful ❤❤❤
I think I would have made the middle one a bit higher
Great idea!!❤❤
