I've got the same one. Been thinking about getting some custom scales or maybe dyeing the white ones that come with it. I feel like if it was a daily carry for me it'd be easier to decide exactly what I'd want from it, but generally for work I have cheaper beater knives as my default.

JD 4_edc modded his mint green m4 manix 2 lw. Ball cage stem has to be shortened (OCD 4 EDC) and you end up not reusing all the screws with the AWT scales he used, one screw toasted is not a killer. I picked one up too and am interested in other scale options/look other than the AWT matte look, so can’t wait to see yours finished.

I had this issue with the pivot of a brand new PM2 Salt. Wanted to do a hardware swap and stripped the pivot so bad i had to drill it out. It was such a bummer.

It’s happened to me 4 times now. Not the same knife or only Sypercos. Over several years.

You know, I assumed it was stripped. It may not be. It may be the channel in the FRN scales was stripped.

As you saw, it worked for me, too, in this video! Just need smaller needle-nose pliers.
