@@inamorthereminist How did you start having your gear and sitting on the floor for your videos? My ancient leg joints would start creaking and cracking if I did that.
Dear Midnight, haha yes I know, I've been asked that before; in fact it's my favorite position to play. From a young age I always liked to sit cross-legged even when I played. I've been doing an hour of yoga every night for 13 years, and maybe also the fact that I have an old passion for old Tibetan singing bowls, which I played for hours in this position, (even when I'm on a chair I instinctively take this position). I'm glad I got into synths because when I play the violin or the viola I have to stand (I can't sit on a chair for that!) and the theremin I have to stand like a statue because the slightest misplaced breath deflects the note, so it's a joy to play quietly on the ground :D I feel more anchored and centered because my mind wanders easily especially when I make music. How about you, it's been a long time since you posted a video? Don't play music anymore or just stopped videos?
@@inamorthereminist I’m still doing my music and trying to get at least a few hours in every day. Covid sort of put a wrench into the works. I was in the process of rewiring my setup getting rid of some flaky audio and midi cables but things like that were hard to get. And if you did manage to find on Amazon but cost was very high and you never knew when your order was coming. The same with the music store (Guitar Center) near us I go to. I had a collapsed lung in 2004 and was taking TESI injections twice a year for post surgery pain and covid messed that too up too. The husband and I both got mild covid but we were sort of just totally tired for a few months. On top of all that our little Lhasa Apso was getting old with cataracts and sundowners illness among other things so she took priority . We finally had her put to sleep last week. So I’m finally going to start making videos this week with a few ideas I’ve been messing around with.
Thanks a lot for your comment Dave, I have just check the beginning of this long movie (I didn't knew it, it seems dark and strange, I should watch it!). Yes atmospheric music I really my kind of music this is a safe and sacred space where I feel free and very inspired. I see that you play very well guitar ;)
@@inamorthereminist Thanks , let me know if you need some moody ambient guitars :), btw its one of my favorite movies, movie has many levels of meanings, beside external perception, it has inner meaning, for instance the Zone in the movie symbolizes mans inner mind when he gets in his creative zone, only place in world where he feels completely free and at home, but also The Zone or zone in creative mind can be filled with traps as sometimes artists can get totally out of touch with reality and get lost in it, or if they invite people in it who dont respect or see worth of their "zone" or talents they get disappointed and demoralized, if you watch and decode movie from that symbolic perspective you find lots of hidden stuff
Ho thank you for the guitar offer, if I need moody ambiance for a piece I will ask you for sure! :) For the movie I really have to watch it now, I will observe it with this symbolizes meaning you offer me in mind (pardon my english I am french) but I understand what you mean, I think I do really live in a zone too
@@davemaverick8438 Yes I have seen that, a remastered version, I didn't knew you tube provides full old movies for free now it is cool. Have a nice day ;)
You mean a gear list of my synths? (I am french) I have Moog M32, Subharmonicon, DFAM, Minimoog, Claravox (Moog) Etherwave, Etherwave Pro (Moog) (and others theremins made for me), a Sequential Rev-2 16 voices, 2 Akai Reel to Reel mainly for echo, spring reverb Element by Anasounds and the Utopia (echo). Solina string ensemble by Behringer, Model d, Pro-800. I think thats all for now (I am waiting for a JD-08) but I just play synth since 5/6 months. Ha yes and a Yamaha CP-20 :) But I play other instrument, 1 hour of violin every morning (and viola, and a little of cello) all teach by myself, and I love improvising on lever Harps, and I have lots of old singing bowl etc... (and 2 drum pad but not at all as good as yours ;) )
Hi, it is the lovely 2016 re issue, I love it, the new features are very helpfull (patch point at the back in CV for aftertouch, new lfo etc...) it really gives life to the instrument because it is now more expressive. Do you have one?
Another wonderful spacey tune!
Thank you Andy :)
Son como sonidos del cosmo , realmente hermoso , me hacen sentir , es hermoso
