one of the most needed video for todays generation 🙌 literally no one think about the mental damage that these people gets when they are being "toxic" roasted you made right decision by holding the srk video and making this video first ✊
I'm late to the party, but god this is a ridiculously well made video! Can't believe your channel is so small. You deserve so much recognition! As an aspiring content creator myself, you inspire me so much...
roasting is just a cover up for bullying. People get bullied for being "cringe". If you make a dance video, singing video, acting video you are bullied. If you are a man who looks feminine or a women who looks masculine, you get bullied. If you are gay you are bullied. You get bullied based on your appearance, skin tone, religion. India is great isn't it. I have always hated the "roasting culture" it promoted that, "if you are verbally abusive, then you are cool" and that's what the young generation did and now people are saying, "Aaj kal ke bacche bhi nah....." Yall want sympathy. You want people to be kind to you but you never stand for others. You laugh when you see someone getting bullied for their appearances. Don't cry when people are unkind to you, when you literally laughed at others being bullied till they killed themselves.
Aur unke community ke log bolte hai ye gaaliyaan dena creativity hai. Chotte bacche ko mindwash kar rahe hai pura internet issi se bhar rakha hai aur fhir khete hai parents ki galti hai ki wo biggad gye.
True. It requires no talent. You just need to be a toxic, mentally underdeveloped, apathetic a$$hole to be one. And all the people who support these 'roasters' are brainless 15 year old who have nothing better to do in life.
their response may be abusive towards certain people but do not let this change the fact that people, indeed, make cringe videos on the internet. True brain-rot videos, precisely.
Thankfully Majority audience are enough mature now to understand the difference between Roasting and bullying, still this video needs to get to most of the peoples to get the idea of how bullying can lead to something worse that they can never imagine
Not majority. It is just that this video is recommended to a mature or normal audience. In reality, the majority of the youth think this is cool . I am saying this from my experience.
Roasting/dark humour culture in India is by far the worst. These normies would tell a "dark" Joke but get offended by a "your mom" Joke. The entire internet culture in India is still at a nascent stage and yet to grow.
Rule to hold: just because you don't Take someone seriously doesn't mean they shouldn't take themselves seriously for you pathetic sake People just drop their intrusive thoughts on people and expect them to stay silent so their entertainment won't be bothered This is mainly where the "bullying is good" mindset comes from
Your editing is really good bruh and i really appreciate that people are coming out and loudly speaking about injustice happening with so many people. Idk why this video was recommended to me because this is neither the type of content I watch nor I want to. I only know Carry out of all these people and I'm shocked to see that people can behave and react this way to a complete stranger they had never met. One roasting video brings 100 more reaction and reply videos to that point that becomes toxic. And on top of that what's with the vulgar language?! Do they think it makes them cooler? Idk, this generation is getting too deep into the toxic culture to live in and internet and social media being the instigater makes it MORE toxic. P.S.- your video editing is superb as your content. Keep it up.
This video needs to be seen more. In 2024, the way we view this type of content has changed so much that feels disgusting to even think that we did not find any huge problem with this 4 years ago.
Needed video. Much needed. Someone had to speak up. More people need to speak up. The internet feels like the hunger games. A circus. For one to be made clown of, and others to laugh and tear that clown out from the costume, and then apart from their sanity. And these masses never realize that once this clown has bored the audience, one among them will be picked.
People Hate For No Reason At All Just For The Sake Of Being Recognized As Cool, Dank, etc. And This Hate Becomes A Part Of Their Own Personality Which Influences Behavior Of Others In The Same Way
I overheard 3 boys in my building "An apple a day keeps a doctor away and shift in the day keeps grap!st away." They did not laugh but they got a light smirk on their face. Just imagine.😨Mind you I live in a big city these boys were from good schools and good families. This is the mentality that has been normalized by dark humor, vulgar, obscene bellow the belt jokes being cracked on women and their character. 👏👏
Teens nowadays are corrupt in their minds and I say that because I am 16 myself and I hear my classmates discussing how they’d gra’pe all the girls in the class. When I heard them I told them to stop making these disgusting comments in the name of “joke” they told me that I am gay if I don’t think the same so I went and told the principal about how they were making unacceptable remarks about girls. They got suspended for a month but on the second day they corned me after school and started beating me I knocked a boy down but they ganged up on me and then kicked me for 15 mins.
I never really understand roasting video first they tell every bad thing about a person ,they roast them by their body ,personality the way they are etc etc,use abusive words and then at the end they ask the audience do not throw bad comments on that individual but some of the some of the youtuber don't even do that much the just want to get attention they don't even consider that that how the person they roasting might get affected from this And I never understand the line between comedy and roast By the way love your way of editing and narration your content is really mature and make a realise the deepth of the topic❤
"Not gonna read all that 💀" I said this to you but it's not offensive now Ye sure I am dismissing you by writing it but if I add a slur in it, it will make you feel bad. So roasting can be done without all of the dark humor shenanigans.

As a younger person, i have always been exposed to this kind of 'content' rather than actual quality content (like your video for instance), it was very easy for me to have this kind of mindset, but luckily i came out as a better person. Im proud to say I'm neither homophobic nor sexist. I am not rascist, neither do i bodyshame. And its only because of the fact that rather than hopping on a trend and watching these videos in 2020 (i was 9 at that time), i looked at both the sides and then at Saiman's videos and that one Dhruv Rathee video. I hope you keep up the good work! Enjoyable content and i had fun watching every second of it, hopefully all these victims will recover after this disgusting bullying and harassment. Once again, thank you for such an exquisitely crafted video!

It is not because they are all like this; it is just because they are all unaware and did not know how much they creating a video could affect someone else's life. I really thank you for putting this video out there. keep in mind that calling some trans is not funny, maybe for somepeople who are not grown and think this is funny, but eventually we all realize what is good and what is bad thanks man you earned a subscrivber

As Simon says, said, we shouldn't wait for a big tragedy to happen for this toxicity to stop
Exactly , and that's why i correct one thing in this video to hold Saiman more responsible for just throwing out as many antagonising tags he could possibly think of on one joke which were false and only in the end being like " i criticise the negative impact that is increased by this video " , without doing this victim card thing with " 300 million log ke saamne usko saap bol diya " phir uski imaginary " carry papa ne dhamki di " ko call out nahi karna , yahi karne se chota creator fully responsible nahi banta hai aur bada hoke kuch negative influence me contribute karta hai , sabko responsible hona chahiye sirf jyada views waalo ko nahi

I like how you picked up the then core youtubers in this video. Mallika was doing great. most of the TH-camrs also accept that in their initial years, they used to cuss because that would get them views now that they have views they do not curse that much, defaming someone to get views is what is being done by these roasting channels.
Many left the TH-cam and many roasters channel died but the thing that haven't die is India's toxic roasting culture Body shaming has become so normal on internet that people will call you bad and audience will support them without even knowing the truth behind it Nice video from you I haven't a good quality video for much time! First time on TH-cam channel and it was good ❤
BRO THE CONTENT, ITS REALLY SUPERB. And yes, really Thanks for this video, sometimes people might not understand by their own mistake by themselves until someone highlight it. It's true that people may not always recognize their own mistakes unless someone else points them out. This happens because, when we're involved in our actions or decisions, we tend to view things from our own perspective, which can sometimes be limited or biased. We might justify our actions, overlook consequences, or not fully see how our behavior affects others. When someone else highlights a mistake, they offer a different perspective, which can help us reflect on our actions more objectively. This external viewpoint can be essential for personal growth, as it encourages self-awareness and helps individuals learn from their mistakes. However, the way feedback is delivered also matters. And your video literally, its really amazing the way you depict this.
The thing is internet is a double-edged sword, we should be responsible in using it. Since it is a public platform, all kinds of reaction come. It is also true that lesser the emotional maturity of a person, the more difficult it is for them to deal with these experiences. This is mostly observed in the case of teenagers as they're not that developed. For content creators, be very much clear of your end goal and use the criticism to improve and ignore the hate. For reactors/commentors, before putting something out there quickly re-read the same thing once or twice inside your mind and apply it to you or your closed ones like how you would react if the same thing was said about you or your closed ones. And generally, use internet for gaining knowledge and upskilling yourself or entertain yourself, instead of bullying or harassing someone who you don't even know personally.
i really like the editing, the concept, and the research!! also love the bgm choices. i’d just suggest working on the volumes of the sound! cheers! good luckk

XD
I'm late to the party, but god this is a ridiculously well made video! Can't believe your channel is so small. You deserve so much recognition! As an aspiring content creator myself, you inspire me so much...
roasting is just a cover up for bullying. People get bullied for being "cringe". If you make a dance video, singing video, acting video you are bullied. If you are a man who looks feminine or a women who looks masculine, you get bullied. If you are gay you are bullied. You get bullied based on your appearance, skin tone, religion. India is great isn't it. I have always hated the "roasting culture" it promoted that, "if you are verbally abusive, then you are cool" and that's what the young generation did and now people are saying, "Aaj kal ke bacche bhi nah....."
Yall want sympathy. You want people to be kind to you but you never stand for others. You laugh when you see someone getting bullied for their appearances. Don't cry when people are unkind to you, when you literally laughed at others being bullied till they killed themselves.
This. This is not the new generation, it’s this old generation which is ruining the future

Literally someone will just talk about r*ping a kid and if you say anything they’ll respond “Dark Humor hai”. Like, bhai?? Humor? Kidhar?
Rule to hold: just because you don't
Take someone seriously doesn't mean they shouldn't take themselves seriously for you pathetic sake
People just drop their intrusive thoughts on people and expect them to stay silent so their entertainment won't be bothered
This is mainly where the "bullying is good" mindset comes from

Idk why this video was recommended to me because this is neither the type of content I watch nor I want to. I only know Carry out of all these people and I'm shocked to see that people can behave and react this way to a complete stranger they had never met. One roasting video brings 100 more reaction and reply videos to that point that becomes toxic. And on top of that what's with the vulgar language?! Do they think it makes them cooler? Idk, this generation is getting too deep into the toxic culture to live in and internet and social media being the instigater makes it MORE toxic.
P.S.- your video editing is superb as your content. Keep it up.

Body shaming has become so normal on internet that people will call you bad and audience will support them without even knowing the truth behind it
Nice video from you
I haven't a good quality video for much time!
And your video literally, its really amazing the way you depict this.
thanks < 3

Today, i am in a much better place unlike those people i used to call friends, i don't speak to them anymore since they believe in spreading hate by hurting others and calling it a joke. This could have taken a huge toll on my mental health as a minor but i will always be grateful to myself for not bending to this kind of content. Please do not let minors have unsupervised access to internet. This type of content reached it's peak all because of the hype it had among MINORS and ILL MINDED ADULTS around the same minors. A huge hats off to this youtuber for calling out the indian roasting community, thank you for spreading awareness!
The best video i have came across in youtube today. thanks for this documentary. I didnt know back then that its this big issue, i just enjoyed their videos but never spread hate or anything to the victim. It's very surprising that people actually take evrything so serious that they proceed to abuse the victims which is crazy. yes the audience are also part of the problem but the mindset of youtubers is also very childish. How come did they not expect that they are going to influence people when they have millions of subscribers. I really feel bad for that tiktok guy. the person who made video on him roasting, it was never a roasting, clearly visible that he is actually jealous of him getting all the love and support from girls so he had to make a video in the name of roasting and demoralize, abuse him . Glad you made this video! Thank you
this was such a well done video. everything about this was almost perfect. somebody had to speak up about this matter, and you did. keep it up
shukriya
