Later on, Jason meets up with Larry and tells him that Jimmy was very offended that he didn’t like his laugh and that Larry should apologize.
“What?! Wha-wha-what do you mean he was offended? He’s a fake laugher! I’m not supposed to call him out for being a fake laugher? He should apologize to me for making me put up with his fake laughing in front of all those people!”

Then he goes around asking people why they don't say something about Jimmy's forced laugh and nobody understands what he's talking about. Then the next night he's out at a movie theater and Jimmy is behind him laughing like a maniac the whole time. He gets up and is like "hey could you stop, I think you're annoying everyone". Then he ends up getting booed out of the theater.
"Believe me, I'm not watching this thing every night." That was not a joke.

the more I see Larry David in interviews, the more I get convinced Curb Your Enthusiasm was a documentary.
It actually started out as a documentary, Larry David was given a chance to do a special by NBC after Seinfeld ended and they decided that the recording the making of a special that didn't exist was funnier than actually making a special

Mr. Tulip I doubt that is a fake laugh. I can certainly see how people think he has a fake laugh, but Jimmy Fallon has ALWAYS been know to be a laugher/giggler. During his days on SNL, more often than not, he would momentarily break character during sketches and laugh. For some reason the stuff we find funny, he finds extremely funny. That's just my opinion.
He comes off as a shy nervous person a lil awkward and alot of people i grew up with would laugh when its not even something to laugh at and they would tell me its cuz their nervous so it helps them just a thought.
He's also hanging out with the funniest people in the world and not everyone has a simple sophisticated laugh like I'm sure you have. Stop whining fuck.

It’s not really fake laugh, as one is in control of fake laughters. His are more nervous laughters because he feels obliged to always please his guests. It’s a psychological thing that you develop thru your upbringing and stays with you as part of your personality. People like him feel uncomfortable with awkward silence, upset guests, etc.
Forced laughter is a learned behavior. When you find out that it’s annoying AF and still can’t stop it’s a personality disorder. When a comedian themselves becomes the butt of jokes that cease to be funny. Doesn’t matter how it started - and now too late to stop

The only talk shows I've ever seen Larry David genuinely enjoy himself on are Conan and Letterman. These things have to be hell for a guy like him.
