- I know I said I quit but I've been eyeing this for over a year now and I just had to finish it. BTW, this is a showcase and the level's not yet released.
Big thanks to Hypno74 for the ideas, gameplay, decoration, and etc. Without him this level would probably be shittier.

genuinely incredible work. something about what you do just makes your levels feel so emotionally raw, and combined with aleexheys work, i think this is a shining example of that. if i’m gonna be honest, this is the first time i’ve shed a tear to a gd level, so for that, props to you.

I feel like this level takes the concepts from Lit Fuse and completely elevates them to a whole new level. The build up is actually insane and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Definitely one of my favourite levels in the game’s history.

This is one of the levels where rate standards don't matter. The pure emotion and atmosphere this level makes is enough to be well deserving of epic. Absolutely amazing.
The part at 3:43 might genuinely be my favorite part out of any level in this game. I'll try my best to articulate how I feel about it even though I feel like words won't be able to do my feelings about it justice. Everything before it and after it is fantastic as well but leading up to this moment, the player navigates through mostly tunnel like structuring. Once the player gets to this part though the level opens up, and even if you are playing it as apposed to watching up you get to appreciate this level for what it is, because of it having very minimal gameplay. There have been many levels and parts of levels in this game that you could say are technically more impressive in how complicated yet great their deco can be, but for me simple lines and clouds with glow beats every other part in this game. It feels like the equivalent of hiking up a mountain, the difficulty and endurance it takes to get there can be brutal, but once you make it, you stop for a little while to admire the view. In a sense, I see hiking up the mountain as the life I lived, and once i’m at the top and my journey of life is over, I look at the view and finally take a moment to truly reflect. I never expected a GD level to make me feel as much as this does. There’s never been another part in a level that has made me feel like I AM the cube, I AM sliding on those slopes, I AM gazing off into the clouds while my vision goes in and out, I AM in Death, and I've never felt more alive.
Not sure why probably because of the title, but this level really feels like saying your final farewells and moving on, its like a bittersweet ending almost
When I saw this map in GD I thought the theme was "U GON DIE MF" but it's actually "the sweet release of death"™

I absolutely love this level and keep finding myself coming back to watch it. It has a strange nostalgic feel to it that goes so well with the song which is amazing in itself. Such an amazing level that deserves to be talked about more
always scrolled past this in my recommendations assuming it wouldnt be worth watching. this was amazing, made 10 minutes feel like not even 2 and kept my attention for all 10 minutes, dont even think i looked away from the screen once. this is such an experience to watch, cant believe im crying this hard at a gd level. beautiful.

I don't usually leave comments on random TH-cam videos like this but this definitely caught my attention. The amount of different ideas executed perfectly really sent chills down my spine. You really made this feel like a whole other little dimension you made. I think this is the closest a Geometry Dash level can get to something that isn't just simple click patterns, even though it still is just that, it feels like so much more. There's something beautiful about deathless challenges in other games like Celeste where we can see such variety and emotion in how something is played and I love that this is not just a short, bang-your-head-against-this-brick-wall-until-you-get-it sort of thing. This reminds me of KrMaL levels from back in the day. This is an awesome experimental direction and I think we need more long levels that push boundaries like this. Absolutely Chilling!

I can see some inspiration from lit fuse, but I love how this makes up for its own level, and it uses some really cool gimmicks. The climax is really well made (and it shows you don't have to make fast paced gameplay to make it climactic which I really like).
I love this style, how it's made and I really like the throwbacks to the beginning. Amazing level overall, I give it 11/10.

This is clearly inspired by some of Krmal's levels, mainly Lit fuse, and some gimmicks from others. Pretty good from a deco standpoint, although I can definitely tell that this would get boring due to the length.
As for the placement on the list, given the 9+ length, the complexity of the deco, the jank gameplay and the overall gameplay, this would probably be on the extended list (high end). I know I don't have the validity to place, because my skill range is still on the hard demon territory, but I can predict.
It looks like a krmal level mix, with inspiration from levels such as Lit Fuse, love baba, and Falling Up, and even Elite Z Rebirth. This was a very good song choice as it really brings the nostalgia factor into place with this level. Good job on making a masterpiece.
I followed closely development progress for this level when Alex was still playing the game and it was pretty sad to find out that he quit therefore he won't be finishing death. I'm glad the level is out and it looks great, thank you.

This is my favorite level in the entirety of Geometry Dash. No other level has made me feel as much emotion as this has, and gotten me this close to crying. I honestly want to write several paragraphs about every little detail of this level but that wou-actually no fuck that im writing several paragraphs about every little detail of this level.
First, I want to talk about the song. Death by Cacola is utterly beautiful. She is one of the absolute best composers I have ever seen, every single bit of its music is a masterpiece. Death is no exception, and is honestly one of its best despite being quite rough due to how new she was to making music at the time.
Throughout the early parts of this level, several things are established, notably the first section and its structuring. The rest of the first about three minutes is mostly more buildup, although we do see the first section called back to for the first of several times throughout this level. After the somewhat confusing and claustrophobic cube and ship parts, we hit the blind orb part. This section is really solid, and I love the way it uses the music (man i feel like im not saying enough here but a lot of why i love this level is impossible to put into words anyways.) The next part I want to talk about is the bright part. This part is a masterpiece of effect work and use of pulsing objects, with the stars in the background constrasting perfectly with the pure white structures.
This also leads into one of my favorite sections of the level, being the faster section of the bright part and ESPECIALLY what comes after. The particular way it returns to the first part, gameplay, decoration, and music, never fails to make me feel something. The ship part changes here, however, instead having you fly through a void filled with stars. Then, we come to the ending. This part is just so good in every way. I can't imagine what it must feel like to get there from 0. The level fades out, with you slowly bouncing into the sky as the melody of Death by Cacola plays.
This level has made me come closer to crying than almost anything else. I don't really want to write about the meaning of this level or anything about TSGuy because I don't want to get something wrong or misinterpret something, but I do just want to say thank you, Zeptrus, AleeXhey, and Hypno, for making this masterpiece of a level.

This level is so cool. The colors, theming, song, and even gameplay pair so well together! For a 9 minute level this is truly spectacular.

I have always been a fan of your work, Sarthix is cool as hell, Sazerix is not only my hardest but i think its top 3 best levels on the list. BUT THIS??? I have never, EVER, been speechless at a level. This did it for me. This is quite possibly, the best level I have ever seen in all my years of gd. My jaw was on the floor for entire time. I have no words. I have to beat this when it comes out, no matter how hard it is. I promise you that.
There's just something so captivating in this level that i can't really explain in words, but the feel it has is really special. Beautiful work :)

This level is nuts. Such an amazing atmosphere, fitting progression and gameplay, and such a long amount of time to enjoy it. This might just be one of my favorite upcoming extremes, you guys did an amazing job with this.
I love more conceptual stuff and something bout the unending length of the level really makes this feel more impactful than it would if it were just a regularly sized level.

that's a lot to take in, but I think I can make a pretty objective judgement on this level.
It's gorgeous. the artistic direction is very impressive and has some sort of psychedelic atmospheric them that are extremely well put together and are in perfect harmony with the song. the song itself is good, although a bit repetitive. I think it kind of emphasizes both the title, and the decorations in their meaning. Speaking of that, I'm almost 100% sure the level has a deeper meaning that I didn't catch, like it represents the last fuzzy thoughts coursing through your mind as you let go of your last breaths, but I may be wrong.
The only thing that I think has been very left of for the most part of the level is the gameplay. It's very original, don't get me wrong. But it's almost congregation level of obnoxious. It's kind of repetitive, and looks wanky. I'm not even sure I was able to pick up the entire gameplay mostly because it's confusing. At least it pairs well with the theme and song of the level.
overall, I'd say 7/10. defo rateworthy. maybe feature, but it stops here.
I think this is an accurate representation of death. Long. Almost as it never ends. Dreamy. Melancholic. Full of colors, but also darkness. It's like you are seeing your life flashing in front of your eyes. You are dying.
It even fades into light at the end.
