Man......... the sound engineers Killed It at Woodstock 99... So clean...
Agreed, sounds just like studio man
Was thinking the same thing.
Totally agree
every band Woodstock 99 fucking g killed it bro. love that we have the actual soundboard audio
Still listening in 2021. Anyone else? Great and extremely underrated band.
I was only born in 98 but remember hearing this in the early 2ks and it came on my Spotify this morning an I was like whoa shit I forgot about that somg
Yeah I think Spotify had this rotation. Stupid sent me here.
2022 and still
2022! Young lad born in 02’ with 90’s cousins
2023 here
Still listening in 2024 !!!!!!!
The drummer took it to flavor town
Perfect!!!
In deed he did, cuz he’s savor’n that flavor’n.
Is that Guy Fiery
Haha 😂😂😂😂 classic
He made flavor town apparently.
Lovin this song still in 2024!!
Used to shoot pool to this song with a bunch of best friends I've lost touch with over the years. This song will always hold a special place in my heart. RIP 90s🤟🏼
This song still brings tears to my eyes..
Man they badly need another Woodstock. The music world needs that right now.
Agree but who they gonna put on the bill today's music sucks they'd have to get all the bands from the 90s and early 2000s
@@mikesperko3921 there are millions of new good bands, the problem nowadays is the industry, new rock bands doesn’t even get a chance, I just started a band in norway, we’re gonna release a single very soon, looking forward to that, but I don’t expect any reaction, because we don’t play mainstream pop music 😂
Lol agreed Mike....99% of the shit out today would never be good enough for a great Woodstock
Why so “Doja Cat” can play “iconic” set?
Love this dudes singing voice
Heck yeah. It's always nice to hear a singer pull off live what you hear on the album... Dude is good. : )
Yep no auto tune. The real deal.
Killer voice
Listen to the words great message
Bad ass song . The way things are going right now people need to chill .And be nice to each other. 2025.
I still have a blue oleander pick from seeing them live in like 98ish
My 4 year old grandson and I on the daily.
I remember when I first heard this song. Loved it then, Love it Now!🤘
It's rare when a live performance of a song is even better than the studio version with all of the hours of editing and mixing to get it just right, but as good as the studio version of this song is... This is even better. Fantastic live performance by a very underrated band.
Yes it's amazing but I do miss the violin
Way back when, people actually could sing and play instruments, and didn't need auto tune and mix boards. And we liked it, we loved it!
Um yeah, plenty of bands out there now , in 2024, that play, sing, etc… too many people think the past was better than the present. It’s actually what’s wrong with the world. And always has been. Older people in 1999 said they EXACT same thing you did 🤦🏼♂️
Trust me there’s still bands who still don’t use auto tunes and play naturally
@@burtmcaster4739Dead wrong. People who lived in the 90s knew precisely how special a time they were in musically. This song is proof - Oleander accomplished this masterpiece, yet this was “just another song on the radio” back then. It was a very special time.
@@danielchrist6419 Ok....... name one................ ;D
Sure, there are, but the percentage of stuff on the radio that contains that is much lower.
I remember watching this whole Woodstock 99 on ppv and I don't remember Oleander playing at all.. thanks for this missing piece!
I know Medela effect?
Mandela effect*@@constantravens4800
Dealing with a very bitter break up and this song really helps!!!
This popped up on a Spotify Playlist and I have to say it's perfect for my life right now, totally forgot this song. Left everything I knew because of a woman and started working resorts to get away. I kept holding on to her then I heard this and it's spot on. Somehow the lyrics just hit something inside and is perfectly relatable
Incredible song that literally defined the late 90s.
I don't even know any of their other music but this one song takes me right back to my teenage years like few songs can 😢 "Prophecy" by Remy Zero is another from that time that gives me great feels.
Their first two albums are fantastic. Should take a look at them
this song, this lp, got me through drug n alcohol rehab in 2003...thanx
That's gotta be the most unique and emotionally honest introduction to a song I've ever heard
🤣🤣🤣
Guy Fieri on drums everyone!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GRACIAS
🤣
this guy solid to sound this good live.
Grandma Tia loves you with all her 💜 Favorite Grandson. You're the reason 💜💛
This song hit hard on the radio!
Always impressed to hear a band that sounds this good live. Dude can sing!
Holy sh!t. They sound pretty damn good live
Love this song. 2023?!??
Damn. They sound great!
that song ended up becoming one of their biggest hit of their career
I miss those days. 😭
Can I go back in time plz?
Awesome band
Man Thomas Flowers' vocals were top notch
Great performance
At the start they were probably thinking yesss my favourite nirvana song
inspiring words, amazing song
FAVORITE Grandson 💛
Grandma Tia 💜
💜💛
drummer is in the back straight up vibin
Good for you guys. Sound just like the album killer
SO UNDERRATED
Rape Me + Heart-Shaped Box = Why I'm Here
So well mixed into a beautiful song like this too... Long live Oleander, Nirvana and their influence!!
Stilll on .
Corey Feldman singing and guy fieri on drums, pretty cool
And Eric Warheim on lead
Saw them with Our Lady Peace and Creed in 99
Nice to see guitars with wear on them from being played, not relic’d from the factory. I’ll never understand why someone wants a guitar that looks like it’s been played for decades without ever being played at all.
Bad ass cool 😎
I was there
easily the most underrated band of all time
They’re ass my dude
caden is the rest of the album good ??always loved this song ever since now 3
@@subhashxrecord3131 yes it is February Son is one of my favourite albums even though I don’t like much of Oleanders other material but February Son is something else
@@cadendealwis February Son and Unwind honestly is dam good. Just that people kinda took the whole band to the trash after
Still listening in 2025
Hypeeeee
I'm so happy we all know the drums fucking MAKE the song
H3y guys remember 1999?
Whatever happened to Oleander???!!
I never knew Hayden Christiansen was in band!!!
They kick boxing in the crowd💀💀
Holy shit! Guy Fieri on drums!?
More popular bands have sounded worse live. This was really good
Dig the Kings sticker. Sactown reppin.
The real 2002 champs
2:34 gets me really bad. Yeah yeahhhh
Fuck yeah
🤙
Always thought this was Kurt .... Wtf.
Listen to Puddle of Mudd! The vocalist has a similar voice.
singer 56 years of age now
Doesn’t the drummer look like a young Huy Fieri?
WHOO ?
@@gingerelvira6587 Guy Fieri from the food network.
Saw them in Kosovo in 2001 during their USO tour. Fun time!
2025
So if you take 3 great rock bands. Lets say nirvana. Alice in chans and oleander. Grind them together and water the mixture down you get mudd. Get it? GET IT?
The lead singer looks a little like the lead singer from Social Distortion. Maybe I'm wrong.
All this stuff about who looks like who.
The singer looks like Drazic from Heartbreak High.
Oleander straight stole that riff from Nirvana. I do love this song though ngl
It takes a lot of effort and skill to pull it off tho, so much more talented than any of the pop or hip-hop stuff (or newer rock which uses autotune, ew.)
Lol the mosh pit for fucking Oleander.🤣
I think these guys like nirvarnar
Why does he talk like Claire Huxtable?
Not your normal fender
Ha ha yes he did 😂👇
