Arrow is the best for horror releases. Their Demons transfer is simply amazing compared to the old anchor bay release which was terrible. I'd say that Arrow is the Criterion for horror films. Except they don't overcharge.
In that case I recommend you import it, comes in a sweet steelbook with Demons 2. Hell any of Arrow's releases of Italian horror movies are amazing transfers, although they did mess up The Beyond, but I think they corrected the mistake quickly enough.
the synapse version has a beautiful steelbook too, they released both demons, phenomena, and suspiria in limited edition steelbook. I recommend you import the synapse version too as it is worth owning two copies over :)
Arrow is head and shoulders above the rest. Runners up for me would be Code Red and Vinegar Syndrome. I own the Herschell Gordon Lewis set and it’s the crown jewel of my movie collection. Amazing packaging and presentation.
Arrow is king overall...now I did buy my first synapse film recently “street trash” and it came with stickers from the film...I’m a big kid when it comes to getting prizes with my movies and look forward now to buying up some more synapse films 😁
My favorite home video label is *drumroll*.... Arrow! I can’t get enough of them. From the transfers to the special features to the packaging, they’re on it. It’s always exciting to get one of their releases in the mail. I’d say Reanimater is my favorite so far, but the Blood and Black Lace steelbook is also high up there. Brain Damage as well. I’m curious to pick up American Horror Project now. Maybe if the price drops to about $50 as long as it doesn’t go out of print by then. Great picks, Adam!

Hey Adam, why aren't all your books available for Nook? I went to get more of yours but it seemed none were Nook Books except the one I already have and read, "Mercy House" (awesome book everyone should read),
They used to all be available via Nook when they were with their last publisher, but since getting the rights to each book back, I’ve been pulling them from that platform because B&N’s accounting and ease of use leaves a lot to be desired. So most of my ebooks are exclusive to Amazon kindle, but next year I should have another wide-release that will be at all retailers. Sorry for the inconvenience, Diane! But very glad you enjoyed MERCY HOUSE, and the rest of my books are available if you care to venture over to using the kindle app or go the paperback route.
I wish I could do the paperback route but unfortunately I have a vision issue and the print is usually too small so I either get it via Nook or look for large print editions. I didn't see that any of your books were available in large print so I suppose I will see if I might be able to get the Kindle app.

As an Aussie I love Umbrella Entertainment. Great film releases, some films that no one else has and released and very affordable as well.
