I remember when WWX and JC got punished after they came back home. JC was "lovingly" mad at WWX and blamed him for the trouble. Their brotherly love really showed at the moment! JC got into the mess together with WWX because he was worried about WWX and WWX knew that JC wasn't actually mad at him.
I teared up when WWX comforted him, saying "let's be brothers again in the next life." And I fvcking cried when they met and became brothers again in WWX's next life. There were misunderstandings between them but they really thought of each other as brothers. Their bond was so beautiful.

@@milkshake9115 It happened on episode 11. JC asked WWX "will father punish us?" WWX said "I think he will punch us. Don't worry, I'll bear all the punishments for you."
Then JC said "come on. I have been with you since I was a child. Since when I do not get punched for having a brother like you?"
That is one of my favourite scenes. I cry every time I rewatch the drama. Their bond is so beautiful 😭😭😭😭😭

I've said elsewhere that it was a shame that there wasn't a third spin-off movie with WW and JC. It could have been when WW went traveling alone right towards the ending scenes of the series. I could imagine that one place that WW could have gone to is back to Lotus Cove. WW asks JC to help him get over his fear of dogs. JC would feel proud that WW came to him for help since WW has never been able to overcome this on his own. The ending scene could be the both of them laughing and playing with some puppies. Or have the two uncles visiting Jin Ling, and Fairy is sprawled across WW's lap, and he's petting her with no fear at all. JC and JL both look on with love and satisfaction.
@@seungmiinpuppy4942 Based on the novel, my interpretation is they did become brothers again though the author didn't focus much on that. They resolved the conflicts between them and I believe it was the sign that they reconciled. They chose to forgive each other and let past be the past.

Jiang Cheng eye rolls are legendary. I remember somebody in a video last year did an actual count of them. I'm not sure, but I think it was something like 70 to 77 eye rolls?
