- Tears of the Kingdom has a boss rush, where your only objective is to defeat every boss back-to-back without ever dying... And it is a nightmare.
You die, you start from the very beginning... Oh boy...
And for the cherry on top, I only have 4 hearts and one wheel on stamina!! yipee!! 🥰
...so of course I decided to take on the challenge because I don't have a life. :)

It's not exactly a flex to no-damage Bosses on TOTK. Just press dodge at the right time, guarantee a flurry-rush. Rinse and repeat.@@cringecraft1845

Kogha, but he's EXTREMELY persistent and keeps trying more and more insane machines until he just blows himself up.
i’d argue it isn’t really a side adventure since you need to beat him to figure out where ganon is (kinda obvious but still)

I mean I found Ganon by accident on my first run since I hadn't actually gone to kakariko village at all (because my younger brother told me to go, so I didn't - have a reputation to keep) so when I was trying to look for the fifth sage and needed ruins, I thought about the ones from the tutorial - and found Ganon there...
So I actually did Kohga after beating the game XD
Ganondorf: I will send my minions around the world to cause chaos to distract link while I build up my power!
Ganondorf: What are you doing here? Aren't you going to help out the different villages? Sh*t! Come back minions and defend me!

Not only did you persevere through the challenge, but persevered in refusing to back up a little bit when using the rubies. True perseverance; this is what the triforce of courage is all about.

Interesting how the master sword acquisition scene works pretty well with draconified ganondorf. Kind of makes getting before hand seem out of order 😅
I think maybe a good reason would be that ganon ate the stone with the thought that link could still have the master sword somewhere somehow and he eats the stone in order not to die in the case link pulls the MS out of his ass
Did you notice in the demon dragon battle that the anomalies like the hurricane were gone? Ganon probably transported the monsters from the temples over to you and their curses were lifted once you defeated them.

Went to ganondorf without paraglider straight from the plateau, took me a few tries but I got real good at diving into Hyrule castle chasm and right before reaching the bottom, revert to normal jump and grabbing the wall, Link then just slides down along the wall without taking damage
That’s a really good strat, I tried that a couple times but failed so I just slowly climbed down and saved periodically.
“Wait, Zelda, you were a dragon? Who the heck are the sages?”
Well done! Although the Ruby / Bomb flower method was sure harder than it needed to be. Puffshrooms and Muddle Buds are broken for the army phase.
Shock fruit / Shock Weapons breaks the Construct fight. Of course, I learned all of that after getting wrecked by the Construct Phase like 5 times. Went and got shock fruit and made my way all the back to the fight.
I just did the run myself. of course, I had to be extra and skip the paraglder as well (The idea was "beat TOTK without talking to anyone", true Link Style) it is VERY painful but with a dozen wings and a lot of faith you can dive to the boss rush without a paraglider. I'd recommend finding some stabilizers for the wings tho... very easy for the wing to flip over and yeet you off.
Got tired of bombing myself, so I went for freeze strats on the army. Found a few rods and sapphires. Do wish I had more dazzlefruit but I only grabbed 6 or so and used them on the way (I decided to fight every enemy on the way to the final battle).
Yeah I learned to spam muddle buds on the strong one so they take out the weak ones then take out eachother
It makes me feel better to see other people struggle in the same spots I struggled when I tried this challenge. It also interesting to see what we did differently. I only had like 3 rubies so I relies on an Ice Rod & Bomb/Rocket Shields.

Right after I got off the sky island I went down the chasm using an elevator contraption I made (The Wing part and a fan part in the middle facing up so it would push down).
Essentially got to the light root before I even knew what that was, made a second elevator and went down and through the hole, snuck past the Lionel after dying too many times. Then used *Gravity* to kill some of the lizards and used their horns to make some decent weapons (range of 45 damage and a cannon shield).
Proceeded to kill the phantom Gannon after a couple tries and spent about an hour and a half climbing down the chasm we fell in at the beginning, would have taken longer if I didn’t save in awkward walk parts, but eventually climbed around and down.
And then the part that made me give up.. the elevator down to the boss room where you fight the army, I would have tried 100 times if it was a fog door like dark souls, but having to make an elevator every single time was rough, spent 3 hours and didn’t get through the whole army.
Now with 150 hours under my belt and after getting he true ending and 152 shrines I’m going back to reclaim my crown, this time with the master sword and Dragon Tears because Zelda is precious and must be protected.
Oh and I forgot to mention I didn’t know when you’d get the paraglider which is why I had to use the roundabout way, I stayed off social media completely and avoided ToTK spoilers entirely so I wasn’t even sure if you could paraglide in the game since they had inventions now.. after returning to the surface I was greeted with a paraglider, you can imagine my surprise..
A. You are AWESOME for that!

The Muktorok was the hardest boss for me so its funny to see you easily getting through it
I fused a hydrant to my shield specifically for that part of the boss rush, I hate that thing.
It's not that hard once you know it's weakness.
For me, queen gibdo was, but I understand why you think mucktorok was the hardest, because if you run out of water, you're out of luck.
The hardest is the construct thing cause mineru is so freaking slow 😅

Torch is from Zelda. In the beginning when you both fell and you tried to grab her hand but she fell and warped to the past. Her torch from the animated scene fell all the way to the bottom.

Literally every boss needs a high damage weapon, besides that there are easy weaknesses to these bosses
Colgera: arrows
Gohma: recall
Muktorok: splash fruits and Keese eyeballs
Queen Gibdo: fire fruits, bomb flower, skill
Evil Robot: ice Ice ICE
Ganon: Arrows, flurry rush

Just finished the game and I entered this segment with a full arsenal of weapons just short of a tank and I had done the mini bosses previously so didn't have to do them. You beat them all to death with a stick. Crazy stuff.

You CAN actually save the game after the boss rush, you just have to be outside of what the game considers a combat arena, meaning that the tunnel leading to Ganon is fine and you can save in there

This video inspired me to finish the game! I didn't get all the sages, but I DID max out my armor and I have lategame weapons, so it was fortunately much easier for me.

I actually had to problem with Queen Gibdo or whatever her name is and her boss fight was my first experience playing Totk. My mom allowed me to try the boss fight and I first tried it.
I don't understand what's the challenge if you dupe your items. It's like having infinite ammo and health. Still waiting to see a glitchless speedrun of this game.

I did this today (although with slightly more health and the master sword because I thought you needed it before the final battle) and it took me 2 tries. I literally have never had such a challenge since Dark Souls / Elden Ring. If I had less health it probably would have taken me a shit ton longer, so we’ll done dude.

I love how the devs are like you can go directly to Ganondorf without completing the main quest but it is going to be extremely HARD especially in Tears of the Kingdom since the game has far more bosses then BOTW lol

Ganon completely freezes up in front of a floating device, so you can trap him really easy.
Hey, if heading straight towards Calamity Ganon after the Great Plateau tutorial was possible in BotW, I'm sure TotK would be no different. It's what made these Switch-based Zelda titles stand out from previous games, which were more linear in progression.
