Please tell your friend he keeps saying the damn words wrong...i wrote him on his previous video and he obviously doesn't read...it's not "may gong la", it's pronounced "ni khao laaa"...other than that, he's all good and i just want his thick body on top of me...
man seeing you visit all the same places I did 4 years ago is bringing back all kinds of great memories. so glad you are supporting Bagan and the Burmese people
Thanks Luke for helping those families with their businesses. Most local won't get it and only tourists are interested in it. Since inflation is all time high locals tend to not spend for souvenirs.
I think you should visit Pakokku town which is located at about 30 km to the northeast of Bagan. There are some famous places there that worth visiting like Thi-Ho-Shin pagoda, Shwe Gu pagoda and Pakokku U Ohn Pe library. You will have to pass one of the longest in land bridges crossing over the Irrawady river. Locals call it Let Pan Chey Paw Bridge taking the name of a village located at the east bank of the river. I hope you will enjoy the trip if you visit Pakokku.
At 21:35 they’re just talking about how you’re using translation on your phone “he’s speaking into (the phone) in English and it’s translating into Burmese”
Thanks for visiting myanmar and then I think you got smell on the raining day at Bagan. This smells look like very nice and very remember day of the myanmar middle dry land mix with rain.
You should pay a visit to the girl from Conor's video when he was in Bagan, she lives in the tiny village just around the corner from where you are. Cheers!
48:41 The Pagoda is called the "Dhammayangi". It was built by King Narapatisithu. Long story short,he killed his father,King Alaungsithu by suffocating him with a pillow because he could no longer wait to ascend to the throne. He built the temple out of regret by consulting the monks and it was the largest temple ever built.
You should drink palm wine here. This region has the sweetest and best palm wine in our country. No chemical is added to palm wine in this region and it has sweet taste. You should try , bro.
