Enjoyed the video Love commercials of every decade
4:37 Jason Hervey (Wayne from the Wonder Years)
2:35 Bob Landers on the v/o for Texas Instruments.
8:09 Burgess Meredith voices a spot for Bulova watches.
I have that exact Honda Express moped!
And what a lineup for shows.... Incredible Hulk, Dukes of Hazzard and
Dallas.
Tv now, just dosent compare!
Ah, it was such a simpler time back then... I was only 4, but I can remember how things just felt "different" back then... Homier, and more family-oriented. Now everything is so frenetic and detached... *sigh*
The air date of this was 10 days before I was born, this is the closests I could get to the day I was born. Television sure has come all long way. If anyone could find the newscast of any Cleveland newscast for 12/22-1979 I would love to see it.
The GE coffee maker in that commercial was known to catch fire due to the heating plate not shutting off as it was supposed to. It became a big problem in coming years.
That A Country Christmas gave me weird vibes.
Good Kodak commercial RIP Michael Landon
0:15 that’s gotta be Christopher Walken...
10:21 So that's what he did before Tool Time...
Thanks to Rachel for sending these to me
4:30 - Older, bratty brother Wayne from "The Wonder Years" and the spoiled kid actor from the movie, "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" a few years before.
Merry CHRISTmas everybody and a very Happy New Year! Be well and stay safe.

Merry
I love Dallas
Look at those kids having such a carefree good time unlike today's kids that are overly coddled, sheltered and helicoptered.
