It's cool that people make things like this. As it is food and I will be eating it, I couldn't bring myself to put that much effort into this. But other people do and it is so cool to see what they make. I bet it's fairly rewarding to make something cool like that.

As someone who has never once seen the word "Boletus" before, this honestly could have been anything from a surreal meme to a scientific deep dive of a mushroom... I did not expect it to be a confection
You got the mushroom wrong lol. Boletus literally says in its name what’s below the hat which is a sponge and no lamella. Lamella mushrooms are more likely to be poisonous btw. Or well it’s harder to tell which is the poisonous lamella shroom and which isn’t. Boletes always have a sponge below the hat and those are usually not that poisonous. The worst you can get from Boletus is some bad stomachache but you can’t die. Anyhow great stuff 😂 just wanted to be a nerd RQ lmao. A lot of people don’t know there’s actually a biiiiig difference in shrooms

For anyone wondering, Boletus is a genus of mushrooms. Many of the species look like that. A commonly eaten species is the Boletus edulis (king bolete, porcini, etc.).
I think it might be too complicated and difficult to make enough for a party unless you're a pastry chef. But it would look gorgeous, especially the jewel tone of the blueberries inside. 💕
