Exactly. I have a friend who had a baby at that age and it hasn’t stopped her from succeeding in anything she wanted to do. As an ATV rider and a mother of children who ride ATVs...NO...Maddie absolutely should NOT of been driving a side x side by herself at 8 years old! It doesn't matter how experienced they are, an adult should always be present in the event that they have an accident! ESPECIALLY if there are bodies of water nearby! That was definitely negligent on Jamies end.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know alot about atv's, but don't they make some for children that are remote controlled?
@@shallowbayphase I personally have never seen a gas powered remote controlled ATV of any kind nor a UTV(side x side) which is what Jamie's daughter had. Only electric ATVs. (Don't get me wrong,, they could exist, I've just never seen one for myself) What can be done is you can adjust the throttle and reduce throttle play which reduces top speed at which an ATV will travel. But I'm not 100% sure if this can be done with a side x side. The side x side Maddie had is a smaller one but don't let the small size fool you, they travel pretty fast on their own! and just aren't designed for someone so young to operate without CLOSE adult supervision. No matter how advanced the rider. However, given the assumption that Maddie was wearing a helmet properly, and was securely strapped into the UTV, I'm sure she would not have been in the level of danger she was in had she rolled over without the pond being there since side x sides are designed to keep riders safe in the event that they do roll over. (I've rolled over a few times in one)

Not realizing these are still very high powered and potentially dangerous vehicles. And the body of water should've made Maddie riding by herself far out of the question! I'm only glad her daughter made it out with no serious life long harm done.

Im not going to defend jamie lynn, but i would think that jamie's situation was more a fight or flight response, which is why she seems so robotic and task oriented. Having someone hit someone with a bottle over the head can kill you if they hit a certain point on your skull, like your temple. Personally if someone was bashing a bottle over my friends head, i cant say i wouldn't have reacted in the same way. It's also temporary and doesnt normally require treatment unless trauma occurs. ex: PTSD
Britney's situation was an instigation of a mental breakdown is not a life or death situation. Shaving her head and hitting a SUV with an umbrella was a direct reaction of being pushed until you eventually "snap" and can no longer contain your reaction. But not a life or death situation, more of a bullying situation which causes mental health hiccups, usually not permanent and can be treated.
That being said, everything else is a damn shame, and the direct result of privilege of wealth and never being held accountable for any of her actions. She got pregnant and 16 and seen no hardships or repercussions... I'm not surprised she turned out to be a Narcissist with pathological tendencies.
