    I had the mutt herald back in 2015. It rode really well. The handling in corners gave great confidence. Only sold it after I passed the test and needed something to ride down to Greece on.

    I love my Mutt. Gets me 14m to work and back in Bristol - I don't filter, just stay with the traffic at a pretty much constant 45mph. Perfect. Only people overtaking me are the super-motorcyclist and an occasional BMW person

    Had one for about 6 months now, they look the part and don’t get me wrong I absolutely love it, but... it is nothing more than a polished turd! I mean that in the best possible way... it’s a cheap bike because it’s made cheap! My speedometer, front fender and 2 indicators have already been replaced. Genuinely no fault of my own, and mutt are very good at getting this done on the warranty! But it is a cheap Chinese bike, just dressed up really really well! You genuinely look cool as hell on it!

    5:50 😂 I’ll answer that for ya. It’s the cost and hoops you have to jump through. You’re basically paying to take your driving test again. It should be CBT only everything else is money youngsters and most adults haven’t got.
    MAYBE CBTs
    under 20yrs..125cc CBT/ 21+yrs..300cc CBT/ 600cc CBT/ 1000+ CBT

    Do they sell those in Germany as well? I only can finde "Brixton"-Dealers with a similar kind of bike. But I think a "Mutt" is more customizable as you mentioned in your video.

      @@mikehus7439 Apparently there is one import dealer in Düsseldorf. But he has no homepage. There are several dealers in Italy tho. Registration wont be a problem if the dealerships register it first in Italy I guess.

    As far as I know, the engine is imported, the rest of the bike is built in Birmingham. Just bought a Mutt Hilts 125cc in Grey. 👍

      @awkward129 I wrote you a long and detailed answer that seems to have been deleted. Basically, walk away. The bikes are mostly overpriced crap! I regret wasting my hard earned money. Do yourself a favour, avoid Chinese brands. Walk away mate. Sorry to tell you but it's true.

      @awkward129 Glad I could help. You just saved yourself a lot of grief. I've just started my motorcycle training. Going well. Already put a deposit on a Royal Enfield 350 classic. Desert Sand. I'll be trading in my Mutt and probably losing my shirt on it but hey ho.

      joni bro Hadn't until the other day. Rear brake seized up on the A3 bringing me to a stop at the side of the road. It's happened 3 times now. I've send the bike in to be repaired, hopefully it's covered by the warranty

      joni bro other than that it's been a great bike, had the newest model for over a rear now and would recommend it

    • @joni-pd5ti
      @joni-pd5ti 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      GoWILD Thanks for the answer. do you know if it has abs? What has been your top speed? can it really manage 70 mph? is it possible to comfortably ride with a passenger?
      Ive herd the mudguards dont do that great of a job. is that true?
      Sorry for all those questions. im just trying to find the perfect first bike for myself. thanks again

    • @GoWILDization
      @GoWILDization 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      joni bro that's fine, ask as many as you want.
      1. No abs
      2. I could probably get 70mph if I was going downhill with the wind. On average I'd get about 60 to 65mph
      3.haven't really riden long distance with a passenger so I can't really comment on that. But the seat is pretty hard for myself, can't imagine it's much better for a pillion
      4. The mudguards are okay, they do what they're meant to do but they're nothing special

    Really good looking bike. Who cares if its engine is Made in China. My iphone and some of my home electronics are made in China too. I never had problems with them. People need to change their mindset nowadays. Back in the 80s-90s, I often heard Korean cars like Hyundai and Kia are horrible and unreliable. Look at where they are now!

    Mate got one something went wrong, flipped him and he broke his back hmm then mutt got in touch and made him a 'custom mutt'. Think I'd of gone for compensation.
    Anyway, look great and the seat is very comfy which isn't important because you wouldn't go out of town unless you like everyone passing you at 55 mph best and a pain to clean.
    Just stating facts they'll still sell because they look apart.

    • @AJThePlayerYouTubeChannel
      @AJThePlayerYouTubeChannel  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What went wrong with it how did it flip him did the front wheel fall off?

    • @ThatGuysProject
      @ThatGuysProject 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any motorbike with fenders would be a pain to clean too, i have a mutt baja and crashed it (my own fault) the bike has issues dont get me wrong, but they're issues that should be checked out on any bike, indicators being loose as I've lost 3 of em, side stand switch getting dirty and preventing the bike from switching on, relieve tube pinched causing pressure issues.
      Basic rule I've learned about bikes, make sure everything that needs to be tight is tight, everything that is electric works and everything that needs fluid has it.
      Edit: the bike is capable of 70mph with no wind, full tank of gas and an 80kg rider, not bad for a 125, I've rode mine from Norwich to my home town near chelmsford in Essex and the only time I questioned my mortality was on the A12 with bad drivers and lorries not being able to see me.

    I hate being negative, I own a Chinese 125 , but surely getting the thing from China and changing wheels and tyres and spraying the tank doesn’t make it British , abit like Norton entering there British bike , in the tt, with an Italian engine ,,all the best , shane 🇬🇧 uk, likely the reason young people are slow coming forward is the stupid ruling that’s evolved in obtaining over the years , despite someone passing there driving test , who is then able to drive a Ferrari , instantly,,,!
