Means, even if you find out the passcode once and make a duplicate key out of it, that cannot be used since the passcode will be floating with a new one next time.

Vento is the sedan version of polo.. Will The 1.0L turbo charged BS6 engine in Vento be sufficient for such a heavy weighted vehicle? Will it be underpowered or enough?
The Vento has the 1L TSI , 110 ps , 175nm engine will be sufficient in the Turbo range, that is after the 1750 rpm and give you the required performance. But it will be a bit sluggish in the Bumber to Bumber traffic and city speeds.

I own polo 1 litre petrol. In highways, mileage is showing upto 18km/litre, but in city, mileage is very poor. It is showing only 8 to 9 km/litre. With full load, car is struggling to pick up while AC is on.
Yes, because of the build quality the mileage and pick up for this 1L petrol engine will be bit low. The 1.5L Diesel does the job perfectly with better fuel efficiency.

Yes, it's an issue and the starting of the engine issue. The rings around the Piston has weakened as is allowing the engine Oil to burn with the fuel in the Combustion chamber which brings smoke in the dip stick and also you can see smoke coming out of the engine oil cap. It's best to rebuild the upper portion engine to improve the vehicle life
That depends on the engine oil consumption by the engine. If the engine oil level is dropping off very quickly, you have to rebuild the engine pretty soon.
Thank you so much It’s really helpful if possible please give me the mileage details(not d one from d company) user mileage for this polo 1.0 petrol. Unfortunately it was missed in figo review too. My suggestion is always add those details that would be a great move since the buyers are mostly middle class. Only People with POOR MONEY MANAGEMENT SKILL says it’s insane to add those details.

Actually during our test drive we take the vehicle to all types of roads, drive in different speeds in different gear ratios and it will be not accurate to specify the fuel efficiency we get during the test drive as it will be much different to the real time fuel efficiency. That's why we are not mentioning the real time fuel efficiency.

Bro, the budget you mentioned is so tight for a premium car. You are already having Polo that falls in the budget. If you can stretch the budget you can get Verna, Rapid Monte Carlo edition, Creta etc
The engine is not that bad but not for enthusiastic drivers. You have the Diesel 1.5 and the Turbo petrol 1.2 in GT for those who loves power and torque.
Is it good to buy the current BS4 diesel engine ? And will they run without any problems with BS 6 fuel ? As BS 6 fuel contains very low levels of sulphur, it is said that the injectors of the current bs4 diesel engines might get affected as the sulphur acts as a lubricant in injectors. So what's your take on this ?
There will be absolutely no issues in using the BS6 fuels in BS4 engines. Previously our market transmitted from BS2 to BS4 and the older engines are running fine. Only difference with the BS6 norms will be the difference in the emissions due to the modifications in the fuel, combustion chamber, usage of Diesel Particulate Filter, Redesigned Catalytic Converter etc. You can go ahead with buying the BS4 engine now can use BS6 fuel latter on.

Regarding the injectors it's still to be proved. We have shared a detailed document on the BS6 emission norms by Autocar India in our FB page. You will ge all the required details. Do read it and like the page to get all the news in Indian auto industry.

This engine is not under powered or sluggish any way. But considering the Kerb weight this car demands a bigger engine for keen drivers. There will be absolutely no issue in taking this engine for a long driver . The only concern is the careful overtakings.

Is it good to buy the current BS4 diesel engine ? And will they run without any problems with BS 6 fuel ? As BS 6 fuel contains very low levels of sulphur, it is said that the injectors of the current bs4 diesel engines might get affected as the sulphur acts as a lubricant in injectors. So what's your take on this ?

There will be absolutely no issues in using the BS6 fuels in BS4 engines. Previously our market transmitted from BS2 to BS4 and the older engines are running fine. Only difference with the BS6 norms will be the difference in the emissions due to the modifications in the fuel, combustion chamber, usage of Diesel Particulate Filter, Redesigned Catalytic Converter etc.
You can go ahead with buying the BS4 engine now can use BS6 fuel latter on.

Appreciation for your reply and your efforts on your reviews. How about the lubricity of bs6 diesel then ? As it is ultra low sulphur diesel, lubrication for injectors will take a hit and might get worn out prematurely. What's your opinion on this ?
Regarding the injectors it's still to be proved.

This engine is not under powered or sluggish any way. But considering the Kerb weight this car demands a bigger engine for keen drivers.
There will be absolutely no issue in taking this engine for a long driver . The only concern is the careful overtakings.
